Has anyone done this? I dont want to have to hook the wires from the light switch to a eletrical box! I just want to use a 3 prong cord then plug it into the outlet with the light and light switch hooked to the 3 prong cord! anyone done this yet lol, please help>

Ok, I have flourcsent lights and I want to wire the light straight to a wall switch and then that go into a wall outlet. Will that work? What wires do I use to set it up? Im doing a wall fish tank and want to have the light on the other side then when I want to turn the light I dont have to go to that room and turn them on just flip the switch.. please help
