I took several newspaper science literacy quizzes and got 100% on all of them. However what makes a person be scientifically literate? Aside from being a scientist.

I'm a very green person and do believe in global warming, but I keep talking to people who don't believe it and I need some evidence to help support?

I never knew that are bodies are made out of star dust. This might be a stupid question, but which star is the dust from? My guess, the sun right?
