Is it normal for a girl to...?
My friend asked me the other day: Is it normal if his girlfriend has other guys wooing/courting/chasing her when she is in a relationship with the boyfriend and yet never tell them about him?
My question is the same: is it normal for a girl to behave like this, or is it suspicious?
6 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoWill this cause stress?
My girlfriend and I are having this long relationship thing. We talked on Skype every day.
One day, she told me this about a male colleague of hers whom she said she hates. She also told me she had an interest in him when he first came to work at her company; now she said she hates him. And she told me she's trying to avoid him.
The situation is this: Everyday, the male colleague will try to talk to her about work related stuffs, after which, he will slip in some personal matters. My girlfriend will try to answer (according to her) the work stuffs as briefly as possible, and ignores the personal stuffs. She also told me the male colleague will regale her about the time he spent abroad during his holiday. Now, for the past several days, my girlfriend has been having trouble sleeping, and concentrating.
Question: Could it be possible for her stress be due to her emotional turmoil of having a long distance relationship with me, while on the other hand, a perfectly young, handsome, monetary loaded chap is nearby, wooing her everyday?
Extra question: How do I stop this from being detrimental to me?
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoDuring the Hundred Years War...?
During the Hundred Years War, Joan of Arc became a patron saint of France.
France at that time was roman catholic. england protestant. now...both sides prays to the same god for victory, for strength, for whatever.
Question: Which side does god really help?
Bonus: if one can answer this question without resorting to say, the english prays to a false god, or god only help those who help themselves, 10 points for u. :)
3 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoAbout angels and men...?
if the original man and woman (adam and Eve) as asserted by the christians were perfect in eden, did angels exist at that time?
are angels better than humans? if yes, are they better than adam and eve?
and lastly, how can adam and eve be the perfect being if there's angels around? and how can there be angels be the perfect beings if there's serraphins around?
so, which one is perfect during the time in eden?
and if lucifer was a fallen angel, does that mean he's perfect too?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoHow do married couple interact?
My question revolves around what do they talk about everyday? Spending time with someone occasionally is one thing, but everyday? what do they do?
Regarding this, do they talk about the things they do that day or what? what if one party refuses to tell? for eg: husband asked wife where she went during the day, and the wife snaps, and scolds the husband never to ask her.
3 AnswersOther - Family & Relationships9 years agoWhat are the possibilities...?
My girlfriend told me a story not long ago. It's about a shy guy Andy who likes Bella. Bella has a boyfriend in guy Charlie. Andy tried to court Bella for a time before Charlie came along. As Andy never confesses his feelings to Bella, so when Charlie came along, Bella choses Charlie even though she got some feelings for Andy.
I ask my girlfriend, ig Bella has feelings for Andy, why didn't Bella breakup with Charlie and go wth Andy? She answered that Andy is on Washinton, while Charlie is just down the road in New York. Based on this, Charie and Bella have the opportunity to meet everyday to strengthen their relationship whereas Andy is far away, physically and emotionally.
Now, my girlfriend and I are in a long distance relationship ourself.
Question: Is this my girlfriend's way of hinting to me that she has met someone closer to home that she's seeing everyday? Or is she hinting that's she's looking for somebody else to fulfill her emotional needs? What are your suggestions as to my point of action?
Details: I've asked her about this. She neither denies or comfirm my speculation.
1 AnswerSingles & Dating9 years agoIf your girlfriend goes to to a karaoke session with her sister's boyfriend...?
When they are singing, the sister's boyfriend happen to trip and fell on top the your girlfriend. Both lie there awkwardly, the boyfriend looks into your girlfriend's eyes, and slowly moves to kiss her on the lips. Your girlfriend (who has an aversion to direct mouth kissing) kisses back, and even puts her arm around his neck. This goes on for a few minutes, before your girlfriend pushes him away, and sprang out of the way. All this while, you were looking in through the door without them realising it.
Question: what would you do if your girlfriend did this? Break up? Freakout? Listen to her explanation?
8 AnswersSingles & Dating9 years agoHow do they identify celestial objects?
I am wondering, how do they identify stars, galaxies, quasars, pulsars, and any celestial objects in space. i meant how can they tell which 2 stars apart, and correctly give their name? is that applicable only to perspective from earth?
6 AnswersAstronomy & Space10 years agoWhy won't she tell her colleagues about me?
My girlfriend did not tell her colleagues about she having a bf. I'm kinda worried because there's this one guy at her workplace that has a crush on her and is wooing her (how actively, I do not know). When I asked her about it, she said telling them about me would just encourage the guy to woo her harder, and with the extra headache of fending off rumours from the other colleagues about whe her bf is. Her rationale is, in a nut shell: forbidden fruit tastes the sweetest.
What do I do? Or is this not a problem?
5 AnswersSingles & Dating10 years agoWhy doesn't my girlfriend SMS or call me back even after one day?
To clarify: Many times, when I called my girlfriend, she didn't answer. I can accept the fact that she might not hear the phone or she's busy with something. What I find confusing is why didn't she call back within a reasonable amount of time...like after a few hours or before she goes to bed since she always checks her phone then?
On a related note, what is the reason of not replying (Or at the very least, acknowledge) to my SMS even allowing for a reasonable amount of time? I sometimes get the feeling that my SMS was totally ignored, or that my SMS is not really a high priority for her to answer.
Is this normal in a relationship? FYI, we've been steady for 6 months.
