I just rescued a baby kitten. it was all alone and it might be 6 weeks if that and I have a dog so I was wondering if she could eat his food if it was a little wet? she is very small and she is very cuddly and talkitive. can she have milk? I just don't want her to starve while she's with me. thanks :)

I have rats and I was wondering if I could use the dust bath on them. if not I just give them regular baths with dish soap.

I have 2 rats and I'm really busy with school and work and I just can't get them out all that much. I still feed them and clean cages but I'm torn here. I'm not sure if I should get rid of them so they can get taken care of better. I can't get them out for as long a day they need to be. I still play with them every now and then and when I have movie nights I get them out with me and they eat popcorn and watch the movie or sleep on me. but I feel bad bc I don't get them out like they need to be. what should I do? are they okay not getting out that much or do I need to take them to a better home?

Okay, I have to rats and I need to find somewhere for them to stay for about 6 or 7 days bc I'm going to FL in 2 days and just figured out my nieghbor will be gone while we're gone. My best friend was gonna watch them if they can't but she is leaving for Texas in 5 days so she can't have them and my fam is going with me so they can't have them and my other fam is horrified by them and live pretty far away too. Can any one give me ideas or give me a link to a website that shows you how to make your own bedding and food for your rats??

I would like it to be around $40 and under monthly because I have other animals. My normal monthly spendings on my rats monthly is about $80 a month. So basically cut the bills in half. I use care fresh bedding right now and tropical mix food for rats from petsmart. Any help and advice would be great.

Oh and I saw wear people use towels as the bedding. Like just put that in there cage instead of bedding. Would that work?

My rat cleans herself a lot. And it may be from that but her and my other rat have patches on the upper bodies and heads. I guess it's from cleaning themselves? But is this serious or is it no big deal?

I think my rat has an eye infection and I'm going to take her to the vet soon. But can I get any thing to help her eyes that's easy to get? I am setting the cloth over her eye for a couple minutes about 2 times a day. Any advice till the vet? Just to help it not be as bad or get worse till her visit? Thanks :)

i just hit my ankle on the corner of my fridge and i am in a great deal of pain. its purple and staring to swell. i cant put any pressure on it without it hurting horribly. i have it wraped and have ice on it. how long and how so often do i need to put ice on it? i cant touch it either but it is swelling and there is a bruise the size of a small rock. is it sprained or what?

Do you think she is Prego? She is getting really fat really fast. If she isn't then why is she getting so fat she doesn't get over fed she gets fed every other day bc she has 2 little bowls of food. Her **** are starting to show and I just got her a week ago from petsmart and she is only 3 months. I didn't look at the rat with her at petsmart so I don't know if it was a boy or girl bc it hid the whole time. She is gettin really pear shaped and every night she chirps allllll night! Oh and what do I need to listen for when she's going in labor if she is Prego.

I have noticed lately that my rat is sneezing a lot. She will sneeze lightly then get louder and louder and nastier and nastier. I can't take her to the vet for about 2 weeks and I have pedialite to put in her water and it helped my other rat but it isn't helping her. Any thing I can do till I can get her to the vet that would help? Thanks!!!

Is she? She has gotten fat really fast and she is getting really pear shaped and I could really tell when he strechted out. Her hips are huge and she's pear shaped big time she was squirming in this picture so u can't really tell but this Is the best one I could get.

But I found some red stuff on one of her **** and I think it was blood. He is starting to loose some hair around her ****. Is he Prego??

Ya so well I'm litter training my rats and I put soiled bedding in there and I guess my rat thinks that's what she has to do. She is putting bedding in her litter box? Is this normal??

Any advice/tips for me on litter training them? I just want to make sure I'm doing this right and it will work out and she will use her litter box. Oh ya she is like 6 months idk if that's too old but I need advice.
