The question: Pencils cost 16 cents each. Shaban bought "n" pencils and paid with exactly "d" dollar bills, receiving 4 cents change. What is the maximum number of pencils he could have purchased if n<(or equal) to 100?

I tried setting up an equation but I don't even know where to begin to begin, it's really hard. Does it need an equation or a "system" of equations? We did those already so idk.

My teacher after the final was so disappointed with the lack of effort put in by several students that she punished the entire class by changing the finals grading scale from /100 to /150, reducing students grades by at least one letter to harm the students' grades.

In my opinion she had an unnecessary fit of rage and swore several times in front of us, as well as slammed things on desks. Is this allowed? I got a C on the final before and had an A- in the class but after this punishment I have a 48% on the final and my grade in the class is now a C+ and the lowest grade I've gotten in any class is an A-.

For reference I have a 91% in AP World History and a 94% in Advanced Algebra 2, as well as high A's in every other class including Honors English and Chemistry. It's obvious I put effort into my classes, especially this one, and deserve a grade that reflects my performance.

I had a 91% in Spanish II, now I have a 79%. My teacher assigned us a poem exactly a week ago, 28 lines, that had to be recited, memorized, yesterday. Other classes had gotten out of the poem because they worked hard. My class has the students that don't care in it. The Spanish teacher said she was not going to cancel the poem for our class because so many people had bad grades, they needed the extra assignment and the extra credit that you could do as well.

The day came up and nobody could recite the poem except a few people. only 2 could recite the poem from memory. I recited the poem but had to get help about 5 times because I got the lines mixed up in my head. One of the people that recited from memory got an 83 out of 100. I got a 73 out of 100. Half the class recited the poem and she blew a gasket. She started slamming stuff, saying "This is bullsh**" using the actual cussword, yelling that she could memorize this poem in 2 days in seventh grade. She then proceeded to say that only 5 people in the class would be passing after this poem was put in. She also said all extra credit that she had receied would be trashed. Today, I looked on the grade portal and now instead of "Out of 100" which it states on the peom sheet itself.

It is now "Out of 150"

Basically vandalizing everyones grades. Everyone in that class was borderline before. If it dropped me, an A student to a C+ just think about the kids with average (C) grades. My friend who did the best got a 55%. Legal?

It seems my girlfriend is more interested in Jack bercat or something, all time low and concerts than me. I asked her if she would leave me for a band member if she could and she completely dodged the question multiple times, even when prompted with direct questions multiple times. She also has all her account pictures with that band member instead of like pictures of us, and she said meeting him was the best time of her life. I just feel second. What do you guys think?

Hey to start this out I don't want to offend anybody, and I don't think negatively towards anyone I'm about to talk about.

I'll get straight to it, my girlfriend likes the idea of body mods. Like really likes and is going to start getting all this stuff done like nose piercing, tattoos, dying her hair...

My problem is that I hate, yes, I realize that is a strong word, but I hate body mods. It's ingrained in my brain, my being deep into my soul and I can't shake it. I'm not going to break up with her...I mean we might after a while because she's into totally different things that kind of turn me off...but I'm going to try my best because we are in love.

I just don't know how to cope with this. Just. I don't know why I hate them I just do. Although when I see someone with body mods I don't judge them at all, we can be best buds but just the prospect of it....gauges and nose rings and belly button piercings and multiple piercings in your ear (I think one is perfectly fine) help m

My account is being used to it looks like send advertisement or nonsense links to tumblr and sites like that to several people at a time. To try to solve the problem I closed out of ALL my sessions, set it to where I have to verify new logins, then changed my password to something completely new, wiped sessions again. But now it happened again! I don't have any malicious things on my phone and I don't know what else it can be. Help?

We have a world history project and we have to make a song about the han dynasty. My partner chosen the middle by jimmy eats world and I can't think of any thing that will fit. I'm stressing out, how can I think of lyrics that will fit? We have to put facts about stuff like political and religious and economic etc. We only have a few days left and have yet to make a video. I'm about to kill myself ._.

It's an old CD/tape/radio player by sharp (a shelf system) and I like to use it to play music from my computer or TV or iPod.

The problem is that when you switch between FM/tape/CD (it's not a button or wheel but an actual switch type thing that slides) it doesn't always play through the speakers. You have to jiggle it and the. It may play through one at full volume, but then you have to get it at a certain place to play through both.

Is there a way to fix this?

Sooo I didn't put enough sunscreen on at band camp (8-4pm) so I'm burnt bad on my neck, and medium burnt on my face, arms, and legs. I put on a hefty amount of sunscreen, but ya not enough, it was cloudy and cool too until the end so unsuspecting (it rained the past two days and this morning).

What I need to know is how to survive the rest of the week. Its supposed to be upper 90's all week. I am most worried on my neck, I can't wear anything there to cover it though.

I'm going to be applying vinager and lots of aloe, drink tons of water, and apply a lot of sunscreen (to where its still a little white probably) every two hours (break times).

Anything else I can do? Band camp lasts all week this week and next week. Please help, I blame it on the Norwegian in my blood. Apparently the Japanese decided to screw itself.

I've factory reset/jailbroken to try to get it to work better but it doesn't work. I can't even play temple run 2. So what can I do with it? What I want to know is if I'd look good, what style I'd look good in and etc. I can't go to some fancy hair stylist to fix me up but ya.

When I get an APK file and it installs over wifi it's fine sometimes but....

When I get the APK+DATA it just doesn't work.

I download it, put the com. folder in either obb(I had to make this file because it wasn't on mine, is that bad?) or data, whichever it tells me to, then i click on the APK and let it install.

But after that when I open it, it'll either stay at some download screen at 0mb/0mb downloading or just freeze at a homescreen or something.

I'm 15 and I use torrents about twice a week to stream Japanese anime shows not available here to my computer. There's no other ISPs here and I hear that TWC can crack down on torrenters for downloading stuff from P2P websites. I don't want to get in trouble from mi padre so how can I prevent them from sending warnings and stuff? I don't have a credit card for anything paid like VPNs so I need help, I like watching anime a lot on my phone during lonely bus rides home(Not enough data to stream on my phone).

It's about...I'd say 2 gigabytes per week (Since they're episodes). Any help would be appreciated, I'll get so lonely without my anime.

The school has given each student from 7-9th grade a personal iPad to use for the year. (Upperclassmen get mac books) so now that we have them, we had to make an account through the school, blah blah blah yaddah yaddah. They made us install some certifacates on it as well. I want to know how to make my iPad as private as possible, delete the certificates? Any private browsers? free apps to help with this? Any suggestions are welcome. I'm not going to do anything bad, but i don't want my social netwrking accs. violated (Because the school loves to violate our accs).
