Heart rate unusually high during exercise after coronavirus.?
Had the infection way back in April and feel more or less back to normal again after being sick for a few months. Only problem is that every time I attempt to gym my heart rate quickly shoots up to almost dangerous levels. I have to stop after working out just a few minutes as I start to feel light headed and nauseous. I've tried warning up with light cardio and it helps a little but I can't gym with nearly the same intensity as before.
I had a EKG done which showed nothing out of the ordinary. My heart rate only goes up to very high levels when lifting weights not so much with cardio. My doctor said I seem to be fine but no further testing like x-rays or anything were done as they did not deem it necessary.
Why is this happening and will I return to normal again?
1 AnswerHeart Diseases9 months agoUnexplainable feeling in chest? ?
It's like something is squeezing me in the inside. A dull sensation in my chest near the bottom of the ribcage. The sensation started when I had the coronavirus in April but initially it was a burning feeling that later turned into a numb feeling. I went to the doctor several times and they did blood tests and a electrocardiogram. According to the tests my heart and lungs are fine and I don't have clots. My blood pressure and o2 levels are also fine. I'm physically fit enough to go jogging and scale a mountain but the feeling never goes away. Sometimes I have headaches and nausea. Sometimes I wake up in the morning with heart palpitations. Sometimes I have fatigue. The feeling in my chest is uncomfortable and I'm at wits end. Can someone explain what could possibly be causing it?
Heart Diseases10 months agoAm I sick or just anxiety?
I would go to a doctor or psychiatrist but I have to stay in self quarantine a while longer because my follow up test came positive and I'm still not clear of Covid19 quite yet.
My chest feels tired all the time but I can still function most of the day. But everyday around 3pm it starts. I get a weird feeling in my nose and my mouth goes dry. The tightness in my chest gets worse and keeps getting worse the later the day gets. Also I get super fatigued. It takes effort to just hold a glass of water. And whenever someone wants to message or call me I throw down my phone like I don't even have the energy to reply and talk to someone or think. I keep forgetting everything and can't even keep my room clean anymore. By the evening my chest feels so bad it keeps me from falling asleep. I have serious sleep depravation at this point because I only manage to sleep about 4 hours a night.
My eyes are red in the corners. And I just feel very bad all the time. It really feels like I just wanna give up fighting and die because it feels like it's taking more effort for me to be alive at this point than just to be dead. I just want to feel like I used to before everything started. Most of the day I feel like I'm dying.
Everyone tells me it's only anxiety but why does my chest feel physically uncomfortable and sometimes even pain? Can anxiety cause chest pain and discomfort all day?
2 AnswersMental Health11 months agoCan I take xanax while I have the coronavirus? ?
I'm recovering from the virus and I'm having episodes of severe anxiety and panic attacks. Can I take xanax to cope with the anxiety until my time of quarantine is over or will it negatively effect recovery?
3 AnswersMedicine12 months agoOne of my friends has coronavirus and I do as well. Can she quarantine herself at my house and will it be safe? ?
The hospitals here only take you in if your condition is life threatening. They don't take you in simply for quarantine purposes. I called and they said everyone with the virus should remain home and self-quarantine.
I've had the virus for nearly a week now and she just caught it maybe a day ot two ago. She's got nowhere to self isolate because her grandfather and uncle lives in the same house and they share a bathroom. My room however has its own bathroom and food gets delivered to my house. My question is wil my condition get worse if I'm in contact with her? Can you catch the virus twice? Could her condition get worse if she has contact with me?

2 AnswersRespiratory Diseases12 months agoWould a bronchodilator be helpful in treating breathing difficulties associated with Covid19? ?
Someone gave me a drug called clenbuterol long ago but I'm not interested in using it at the moment because it's a fat burner for cutting and the gyms are closed anyway.
But I was thinking if I were to catch covid 19 and experience any breathing problems would using clenbuterol help since it's a bronchodilator and decongestant originally developed to treat asthma?
Or would using clenbuterol during a Covid19 infection pose any other risks or possibly make the infection worse?
Ps I'm just asking out of curiosity and would never make any uneducated decisions.
