Would a bronchodilator be helpful in treating breathing difficulties associated with Covid19? ?

Someone gave me a drug called clenbuterol long ago but I'm not interested in using it at the moment because it's a fat burner for cutting and the gyms are closed anyway.

But I was thinking if I were to catch covid 19 and experience any breathing problems would using clenbuterol help since it's a bronchodilator and decongestant originally developed to treat asthma?

Or would using clenbuterol during a Covid19 infection pose any other risks or possibly make the infection worse?

Ps I'm just asking out of curiosity and would never make any uneducated decisions.

Bronchodilators relieve asthma symptoms by relaxing the muscle bands that tighten around the airways. COVID-19 actually causes the alveoli in the lungs to fill with fluid. These are two completely unrelated problems so I seriously doubt that your clenbuterol which was not prescribed to you is something that you should take or even have in your possession.

Doesn't matter. Clen has a shelf life and it won't do anything it you've had it from long ago.

Clen is no good for covid because it raises body temperature (that's how it burns fat).

Covid symptoms include fever. So taking clen while having covid could potentially be a deadly combination

I am not aware of any evidence that shows using clenbuterol would help in fighting in COVID-19. If it did, you would probably see articles all over the place encouraging people to use it.

Rather than guessing and trying drugs to see if they help, you should talk to your doctor about this. None of us have medical degrees so our opinions have no more weight then your would. And even if we had a medical degree, without being able to examine you we can not tell what is the right treatment for you.
