  • Will an EZ pass affect the car sensors?

I know the ez pass is suppose to be mounted behind the rearview mirror but will it affect the sensors that are built in the windshield and block the built in sensor on the back of the rear mirror? The car is a 2016 Honda Civic Touring. I don't want to attach is too low since then it may block my view.

  • Is it the abs, brakes, sensor or something else?

It seems that the abs light comes on when driving longer distances. I stopped at a rest stop and turned the engine off for about 15 minutes. The light disappeared upon starting the engine and abs light reappeared in about 50 miles. Today I drove it locally running errands turning the car on and off. No abs light ever came on. I replaced the brakes and rotors about 2 months ago. Is it the sensors or something else?

  • Can brake repairs and oil change cause another problem?

I recently had front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced and an oil change. The shop broke 3 drill bits trying to remove the rusted bolts on the driver side brake. Now oil is leaking and the shop says it's from a leaking engine mount. It never leaked before having this work done. It's not residue oil but a spot 8"x6". Could this leak be the result of the other repairs or a coincident? I saw the leak the same evening as the repairs. It's a 97 acura cl.

  • How do I use the dishwasher soap tablet?

The directions say to place 1 tablet in the main soap compartment of the dishwasher. I usually fill the prewash and main soap compartments when running the dishwasher on normal/full wash. When doing a light wash, I only fill the main compartment. Do I need to add soap to the prewash compartment when using a tablet. Or do I just use 1 tablet and do a light wash? Or do I use 1 tablet and do a normal/full wash which would do the prewash without soap.

  • How long does it take for bathtub wallboard to dry?

I removed the old caulk and cleaned the bathtub and let it dry for 24 hours before recaulking. I waited 50 hours before using it again. I used DAP tub and tile caulk. A few days later the caulk started to come off. I read that the wallboard may have still been wet and to use a hair dryer to dry it and wait again. How long does it take for wallboard to dry before caulking? If it does it again, I'm thinking about using duck tape.

  • Why doesn't the printer work?

I installed a HP 7350 printer disk in my notebook and received a "installation complete" notice. However nothing prints. Nothing is sent to the queue. I turned off the pc and printer for a while and restarted. Still nothing happens. Plus most times when I click print or print preview, I get disconnected from the web. What's going on and how do I fix it?

  • Do I need to repair or replace my dishwasher?

My GE dishwasher is 13 yo and doesn't wash. It filled with water, the orbital spray arms didn't spin, and it didn't drain. The dial turned like it was in cycle, the soap cup opened, but it never drained. Is this something that can be easily and cheaply fixed or should I just replace it?

  • Do senior housing communities discriminate?

Many senior communities restrict ownership or renting to people who are 62 and older. The Older Americans Act protects people age 50 and older against discrimination and the Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination. So what allows these senior communities to prohibit selling/renting to someone younger than 62?

  • What is the best way to clean dirty sticky stuff from the basement?

OK, I haven't cleaned my basement in years. Now there's dirty sticky stuff all over everything. It's on the furniture, books, lamps, junk, everything. You really can't see it as much as you can feel it. Is it mold/mildew? What's the best way to clean it? Wiping it down with 409 spray isn't doing the job.

  • Should I use hydraulic cement to repair a foundation crack?

My house is 13 years and developed a 1/16 to 1/8 inch crack in the poured cement foundation which runs about 5 feet above ground. I can't see below ground but I'm guessing it goes down as well. This crack is probably from the house settling. I was thinking about repairing it with hydraulic cement on the outside. The wall is finished on the inside and appears to be dry. Will this work or should I use something else?

  • Is it me, the box, the digital signal, or something else?

I just hooked up the converter box and now there is no picture, just snow or lines. The analog tv was working perfectly prior to hooking it to the box. Should I receive a picture on the TV if the digital switch hasn't been flipped yet? The manual says I'll get a "setup" guide when first plugged in. All I get is snow. Geezy.
