Which would be faster HDD for a boot drive?
I have a 250GB 8MB Cache spinning at 7200rpm, I'm planning to upgrade to a 2TB 32MB 5400rpm HDD. Will it slow down my PC if I use the 2TB as the boot disk or should I stick with the 250GB?
I usually use Photoshop and video editing softwares. Ang the PC is always ON 24/7.

I want to re-arrange my SATA cables so that the slots are neatly arrange however I've been running this system (Win XP) for 3 years already. Would it be safe if I remove the cables and install it on different slot? Will my system work just the same as before?

My sister bought a Maxtor One Touch 4 External Hard disk. After it failed, I dismantled it and took the Hard disk and checked directly on a desktop. After checking, I learned that the HDD is already busted. I checked the power supply of the external HDD case and it's still fine. Can I install a new HDD in it or not?
