What is the best and worst case scenario for a transmission fluid leak in a 1999 Saturn SW2?
I have a 1999 Saturn SW2 with a leaking transmission. I was told the tranny filter is under the air cleaner. Is it under the box that holds the air filter. I would also like a price differential on best and worst case repairs. The car cost about $1000 and I'm not going to put a ton of money in it, so I would like to know if it was your car, would you invest in the worst case(seals)
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs7 years agolocation of the thermostat in a 1996 chevy cavalier w/standard tranny?
The engine gets hot, but cools down quickly. I'm going to replace the thermostat because I can't think of anything else that would restrict the flow. The upper hose gets hot, but the lower...not as much.

I've been on ten websites and they are all so vague I'm afraid I'll have to exume and reanimate Hoover to find out.

5 AnswersChevrolet7 years agoaverage cost to replace 2 wheel bearing in a '96 cavalier?
My daughter has a '96 Chevrolet Cavalier that needs both front wheel bearings replaced. What should she be looking to spend if she already owns the part. The mechanic is qualified and is ok with her bringing the part.

2 AnswersPeople with Disabilities9 years agoQuestion about Samsung notebook?
I recently purchased 3 Samsung notebooks model # NP305E5A-A03US. The problem we are having is a cursor with an apparent mind of its own. It moves things without warning. If you move the cursor over an icon, it will pull it up on the screen without consent. Is there any way to stop this?

1 AnswerLaptops & Notebooks9 years agoDoes anyone have information that would include part numbers for a Whirlpool washer, model number WFW72005Q02?
I need the part number for the control panel in order to resolve a problem with a washer that failed shortly after the warrenty expired. The $136.00 technician wouldn't leave the part number because we couldn't afford the service charge and had to bill us!
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoAnyone else hoodwinked into buying Whirlpool Duet washer. Planning class action!?
I own a WFW9200SQ washer that we paid $1000 dollars for. Fifteen months later it no longer functions and may require $750 in repairs. I see it is not an uncommon problem and I want to know if there are others out there who have had similar problems. There may be some class action involved.
