Hoo Ha!
Anyone have WWE network? Are there commercials during RAw or smackdown shows and are the matches interrupted?
Can you answer this as I've read some of the benefits on wwe.com and from google. But I saw that generally the programs are commercial free. I assume for the ppvs of course. It said limited commercials or something like short one's in between. That's for the RAw or smackdown shows. Does that mean the Raw or smackdown shows from WWE network on demand are not interrupted, or the matches not interrupted for a commercial break?
Or simply it's limited or very short commercials during the match? Or the commercial part is edited out, but you're just seeing it go right to the match that continued from the break, but you just didn't have to wait through the commercial? So basically do you get to see the whole matches without middle parts cut out, which you know happens on raw and smackdown on tv when commercial breaks happen in the middle of the match but match still progresses? thanks
3 AnswersWrestling3 years agomen being more visual than women: nature or nurture?
I feel men in general are more visual than women sexually is mainly because of biology. I've had a conversation with a feminist though and she felt women are less visual toward men;s bodies than men are towards women's because of cultural conditioning. I do believe culture and conditioning does have an effect and why guy's are so stimulated by boobs and asses, to a fetishsized level. The body parts covered up, but yet flaunted does add mystery and a ton of allure for us men. And her argument was that there are cultures where men aren't lusting after women naked or topless, which is true. So what side are you more on or believe the visual difference between men and women in general is from? Biology or Social Conditioning? Or more so from? and why?
4 AnswersGender Studies7 years agoWhy do babies and toddlers gravitate to me?
I've seen that question before, but the reason I ask this is because part of it doesn't make sense. Whether's it my niece or kids from friends and family, they usually talk or like to be around me more so than others. I'm not a person who dislikes kids, but I'm not one to be all gushy and "aww" or you know how some people just react to kids. But even for babies or kids from strangers react or smile or talk to me. I work in retail and there will be other workers next to me for the kids to talk to , but they always smile and tell me their name and what my name is. it's pretty funny. The reason I'm a little confused, is while I do have traits, I'm a protective and compassionate person. But I as selfless I am, I can be fairly selfish at times too depending on my mood.
And the biggest reason it suprises me, is I would think kids would or babies would gravitate to adults I know who are nice and "easy going". I obviously don't show my bad side, but I wish I was more easy going, but I do have a bit of an A type personality, not like, crazy hot head way, but can be quite impatient, or agitated easily sometimes and not take things in stride so easily and very analytical. If kids pick up vibes or energy, how come that part of me isn't picked up and other easy going peple they don't gravitate to instead of me? I don't show this side much to people though as I like getting along with peiple and know it's not good to show that side. But simply the genuine part or energy overrides the other hidden part of me?
2 AnswersToddler & Preschooler8 years agoLadies: Does this song encourage rape?
I've written on a blog thing or responded to feminst whose had some interesting posts, but one recently I didn't agree with her. I'm just wondering what other women's opinions are, so I can use this as a poll or tally. She felt the Robin Thicke song Blurred lines was a rape song or encouraged rape or rapists share the same lyrics or something. I think it's a bit bogus. I know the words aren't that nice and pretty deushy, but not criminal to me.
5 AnswersGender Studies8 years agoWhat's the story between Christians and Atheists?
I don't know many atheists as far as outward or letting it be known, but I had a best friend for many years who was an atheist. I knew this since I was a little kid. But while I didn't see things the way he did, I didn't think bad of him and we had mutual respect for each other. What I'm getting at,is I know there are goofy fundamentalists who think bad of atheists and perhaps arrogant atheists who think christians are stupid., but isn't this animosity not as seems? Is there animosity? Or a lot of atheists and christains who while obviously don't share their beliefs, but respect each others and don't think each other is wrong or stupid for their beliefs? Just wondering what the opinions of atheists and christians are here. I wouldn't seem that odd to me for there being a decent amount of people who are christian and have atheist friends or vice versa.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoDecision in last 2 minutes? yea or nay?
It was something that came to me, I don't recall coaches doing this too often. But it came to me again during the end of the Saints-pats game last week, when the saints took the lead 24-23 and pats went 4 and out at own 20 or 30 yard line. Saints ended up only getting a fg. With there only be 2 minutes left, and that is usually only enough time for the other team to get one score in, if there's any time for an onside kick or not much time left with an onside kick. What I'm getting at is, would it be that bad of a team to go for 2pt conversion after scoring a TD when up by one before? Or a fake PAT? Unlike doing that when tied, there isn't the chance of losing if it doesn;'t work as your team would still be up by 7, so the worst would be a tie before overtime. But if two pt conversion is good, your team basically finished the game and made the lead now a two posession lead with time left (2 minutes) for one score, therefore, essentially going for the kill. It's true an 8 lead seems a little bit better as the opposing team has to convert the twp pt conversion, but it's still a one posession lead as 7 pt lead, wherease' obviously being up by 9 brings it to a two posession lead and putting the game away from being tied for the other team on their last two minute drive posession? have teams done this, good idea or not?
3 AnswersFootball (American)8 years agoWhat type of pine tree grows the fastest?
I was just wondering what type of pine tree grows the fastest? I thought some can grow a to 2 feet per year and some pine trees are big and others 10 feet. I'm not simply talking about christmas tree pine trees, as I thought there were other pine trees that were as short too.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape8 years agoIs it biology or Cultural Conditioning?
This might be a two part question. wanted to see how many opinions I could get or facts. I had a debate with a woman, and she was talking about conditioning, which I think definitely conditioning has an impact on people. But I told her that while I think women would be more sexual if less shaming for their sexuality and maybe more sexualized images of men, I'm still not sure if it would be a huge difference or that women would be turned on towards men'd bodies on the spot and still need to know the guy or something, which many women, while finding a guy sex, seem to need a little more to get aroused by a man's body if he's a stranger.
Guy's generally can just run straight on visuals for their turn on even if the woman is a stranger to them, if she's pretty and nice body. She thinks because a man's body hasn't been fetishsized and is why women aren't aroused by guys bodies and brought up how men's fetish for boobs is not innate, and brings up tribal cultures where women are topless and boobs desxualized. I brought up that men are the sexualizers though, and men's strong visual nature is what causes body parts of women to be taboo or fetishsized. And I brought up how, even though women topless isn't a big deal in the tribes in africe, they have to wear longer skirts, as their legs or hips are seen sexual. So it seems one body part or another is or has been fetishsized. And the reason women's bodies are more sexualized is because it sells better for men and easier and adverstisers naturally will spend more time with the more profit and easier way getting it. What are your thoughts on this topic?

1 AnswerAnthropology8 years agoquestion for lesbians and bisexual women?
I was trying to use this as a poll, but I don't think I'll get enough answers for this. I've been in a discussion with a woman, a biology vs conditioning debate, nature vs nurture. I think women's sexualit is effected by conditioning but the fact of the matter, men and women are different, so I still think biology is there for the difference. What I'm getting at, is I know women can have different feelings individually, but generally speaking, while I think many women are quite visual, I still think men generally speaking are more visual as in being turned on and wanting sex simply by body parts and looks and not really even needing to know the girl. I didn't think lesbians were different as far as need to know the girl or some emotional or mental connection to the woman. Of course they find the woman hot or sexy, or get excited, but as far as looking at a pick of a woman they don't know nude or topless even if pretty, they don't masturbate or want sex right on the spot without knowing the woman and a little more on the mental part.
It seems like gay guys are just as visual to other men as straight guys are toward women, So I thought it wasn't really sexual orientaiton, but differences between men and women. Even though straight women and lesbians have different attractions, I didn't think the visual, mental part was much different. I'm sure there are very visual straight wome, and not so lesbians and vice versa, but not much difference. Just curious from your personal perspective on this and from you knowing other lesbians and their thoughts? thanks
2 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender8 years agohow would this AFC playoff scenario go?
I know there are quite a bit of "ifs", but crazier things have happened in the nfl and it is possible. But lets just say hypothetically. The 7-8 teams win this sunday coming up and say just the Broncos win and get the 5th wildcard seed. The jets lose to Cincy say, Oakland who have been quite the spoilers, even though baltimore will probably beat them, but oakland has been good against AFC north team this season and lets say they beat the ravens and all of the rest of the teams in the hunt end up 8-8 after this sunday. Who the heck would get the tie breaker and 6th seed if this were to happen. And say the Bronocos lose, then who would get the last two spots in the AFC?
4 AnswersFootball (American)1 decade agoWhat's the name of this Christmas song?
It's a famous song, I just can't think of the title. I'm going to try to describe it the best I can with the little information I can think of. The song begins with like a children choir or children vocals. They sing merry christmas a couple of times and then the singing ends. Then a classical, instrumental melody plays, it's a very popular melody to this song. Then it goes back to the children choir and they are not saying much as far as the lyrics go, but christmas or little variations to it and eventually they sing in the same melody as the instrumental melody earlier in the song. After that part it goes back to the classic, instrumental, orchestra melody at the end of the song. It's a classic Christmas song, I just can't think of the name at this moment, so if any of you guys know it, that would be cool.
4 AnswersChristmas1 decade agoWhy do some people in the GWS feel the need?
to speak for a whole gender based only upon how they feel or their friends feel about something even when there is no empirical evidence to support such a claim? This apparently seems to especially apply to some of the men making such statements and it's pretty annoying actually. If this doesn't apply to you, then there is no need to be upset, as I specifically said some, just so the many guys who are decent in the GWS don't get offended as it's a select number of guys.
8 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoAm I the only one who find's this Olympic sport sort of funny and amusing?
I hope not, but oh well if I am...I couldn't help but find it amusing and sort of funny http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5gNG9jig0c
I was flipping through the channels and came across this for the olympics, and just went to youtube to see if there were any events on there to show as an example.
It's interesting just seeing the women and women naturally sway their hips when walking, but the exaggeration is still a little amusing. I realize that movement is to move fast, but it still is funny, especially when the men do it. That guy in red sure knows how to sway his hips, lol. Don't take this wrong though, I don't think anything of them as non manly or anything, but regardless of the hip movement needed for quick movement in this, so called sport, it;s still funny looking seeing it from men, but just my 2 cents.

5 AnswersJokes & Riddles1 decade agoHow important is sexual compatibility to you?
I personally think it is pretty important, but I'm wondering what your feelings of how important it is to you regarding a relationship, especially one that you are considering for long term or marriage even. All I know is that it seems like trap sometimes for a man or woman in a relationship for someone they truly care for and love, but who didn't truly show their true colors or true sexual preferences or lack thereof until further in the relationship when the feelings and love have already grown strong, making it quite difficult to or even feel guilty to break up, yet disheartened of desires unmet or not desired how you wish or not enough. For example, a person with a very high sex drive and another who could really care less about sex, but didn't really show those true colors early in the relationship until further down the road. Or perhaps a man or woman who loves to give oral sex (lucky person that is you would think), but the other partner for whatever reason doesn't like it.
9 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoIf breasts, hips, butts, and legs?
are the common parts of a woman's body that overall are sexual to men (excluding the vagina). What are parts of a man's body are sexual to you ladies (excluding the penis)? I'm not talking about arousal as I realize women aren't as visual as men in that way, or as easily moved in such way, but more in the eye candy/admiring way, I guess. I know everyone likes something different, but while a man says hair or feet, etc. If one tallies up the top parts that arousing or as far as eye candy for men, breasts, butt, hips and legs would be the main or interchangeable ones as the top 4. So I was curious of any insight or to treat this as a poll maybe regarding a man's build that is at least in decent shape - fit, for women and see what are the common one's shared from each woman's answer.
24 AnswersGender Studies1 decade agoHow many fit into the "switch" category sexually speaking?
I didn't realize switch meant liking it all or both roles interchangeably as I used to just middle or something like that. But with that said, I would have to say I am and I figured most people might be, but I'm not sure, thus why asking the question. I see how questions are asked sometimes about liking or preferring to be dominant and submissive regarding sex, so I was wondering about who fits the middle category and likes it all or goes with the flow and not really having a preference or if a preference it is fairly slight and for the most part not concrete but perhaps more depending on your mood? If you aren’t then just be truthful, but I was just curious how the numbers stack up regarding this even if limited in YA.
