who am i?

i have just brought home a 7 week, 2 day old kitten as the mother had abandoned the litter in the last few days, i know this is an early re home but under the circumstances i felt it was the right thing to do. she has been started on food and will eat kitten meat and biscuits and she's is having kitten milk. i have just weighed her and she is only 1lb and 1oz which is low. she has quite loose stools but i wouldn't say diarrhoea. she has a vet appointment in a few days, how can i help increase her weight so she wont get diarrhoea? thanks in advance.

i had my gsd mated on day 12 and 14 and they had 2 good ties. it will be 2 wks tomorrow since they mated but today i noticed a small amount of bloody discharge. my girl had stopped bleeding a few days after mating and has had no discharge since, until today. could she be reabsorbing the 'pups' (if she was pregnant) or could it just be a natural show and she could still be pregnant? She is well in herself and not off her food, she is showing more affection to me like she did last time she was pregnant. what are your thoughts?

(and yes i am a responsible owner/breeder in anticipation of those who might think i'm a back yard breeder.) just looking for some extra info/input.

i'm looking to get a hand held games console for my 3yr old. his 2 brothers have ds's and he always wants to join in,he does 'play' with it when he gets hold of it but even the 3yr old games are too complicated it seems.

any advise re vetech or fisher price or any other games consoles that might be suitable or do i get another ds and look for very simple games ie peppa pig/thomas the tank etc.

and please dont tell me he's to young or i should be a better parent etc. i limit the use of these types of 'toys' very strictly but want them to be computer aware.

i want to make a marble cake using a basic sponge recipe but wondered if i could add a little oil to make it extra moist? what do you think?

i moved in my home and planted 2 apple trees in the garden about 7yrs ago but would now like to 're-design' the garden. can i dig up the apple trees and re-plant them? if i care for them do you think they will survive?

my current sofa has seen better days and i'm looking to change it. price aside i dont know whether leather or fabric is best for me. i have 3 young children and 2 dogs (who dont go on the sofa). i feel both have pluses and minuses.

hi all, my gsd ***** had a litter of 9 pups,8 survived, the 9th had club/deformed feet and the vet said there was nothing that could be done,they are 5 weeks old now. all are thriving except 1 boy, he lost the most weight in the first few days and has continued to be smaller that the others but now they are coming into their own i,ve noticed how much quieter he is. he mostly wants to be on his own during 'playtime' and rarely joins in,though he mostly sleeps in a bundle with the other pups. also when i,m preparing the food and am around in the kitchen when all the other pups are yapping at me he continues to sleep unless another pup steps on him. do you think the pup could be deaf? i'm going to the vets to have him checked but it just occurred to me this could be the problem. what do you guys think?

Just wondering, what's the earliest puppies can be born and stand a chance of surviving? I know the pregnancy is 63 days and a day or 2 either side is fine but what is too early for birth?

morning all, i currently bank with the rbs and have for many years but feel like changing to an other bank. the main reason is that i do not like near a rbs branch any more but also feel less secure about the bank due to news headlines.

in my town there is a nat west,a Barclay's and a cheshire building society but who should i look at changing to. i don't have any savings and want a joint account. i also want to open 3 children's accounts.

i have a pregnant dog and was wondering what inexpensive human food i could give her that will help her through the pregnancy. i want to do the best for my dog and have been told to give her puppy food in the later stages of pregnancy because of the high vit and mineral content which i will do but also wondered if giving her something like baked beans or weetabix or cooked eggs would be good for her and the pups? my dog is in early pregnancy.

any suggestions or advise welcome.

my 3yr old son channel flicked and watched a program about a 'little helpful truck' that was white with a bit of blue on it. the truck help his friend, an ice cream truck to make some more ice cream.

i dont know what the name is,what side it was on or what time it was on(,it was on a few days ago) so i am really stuck. my son keeps asking for me to put it on again for him but i carn't. can anyone help?

my husband and i are have a go diyers with not a lot of spare cash. we decided to paint our hall,landing and stairs [h,l,s]. we have 3 young children and opted for silk in red,we have a lot of white gloss in h,l,s and thought it would look nice and be serviceable.

the original paint was builders matt magnolia. we did 1 coat of silk on weekend 1 then started a second coat on w/end 2 but felt it looked awful [we could see the roller marks and brush strokes and could still see the magnolia]. we asked a diy store if we could swap the paint for matt,no problem they said, and whether you can paint matt onto silk. they said it would slide off and to take the silk off by white spirit or sand it off. we sanded it off as best we could,some areas went down to plaster and some still had a splattering of silk, as the sander would not fit in all the areas.we have since done 3 coats of matt and it looks awful,its patchy and in some places is rough from the silk underneath.

i don't want to live with it for the next few yrs. how can i sort this problem, more coats of matt?, paint with an undercoat and start again?,sand it again to remove the roughness?

just bought a gelert morpheus 8 tent and think the instructions are a bit vague, has anyone got any tips on how to put up this monster of a tent with 2 adults? all help appreciated.

i've always fancied owning and running a boarding kennel but never felt it was the right time. just recently though i've been thinking about it more and more. i have 3 young children to consider and my husband would like to continue working to ensure a regular income. do you think this can be done? how rewarding is it?
