Where can I submit my tax forms online?
I found PDFs of the forms I needed on irs.gov. I filled them out on my computer, but now that I'm ready to submit them, I can't find where I'm supposed to do that. It just keeps linking me to outside tax filing companies (where I would have to resubmit all my information).
I remember doing this last year. I didn't use an outside company, I just got the forms, filled them out, and then uploaded them with my W2 forms online. It was really easy.
If I can't find this, I'll just send them in, but I'd really like to just get it over with right now, and I'm just really frustrated because I know it was easy to figure out last year.
4 AnswersUnited States7 years agoHelp with e-filing taxes? Simple question?
This is my first time doing taxes. I tried e-filing them and it got rejected.
It said this was the problem:
Field/Xpath: /efile:Return[1]/efile:ReturnData[1]/efile:IRSW2[1]/efile:EmployerName[1]
Issue : Business Rule X0000-005 - The XML data has failed schema validation.
Field/Xpath: /efile:Return[1]/efile:ReturnData[1]/efile:IRSW2[1]/efile:EmployerName[1]/efile:BusinessNameLine2[1]
Issue : Business Rule X0000-005 - The XML data has failed schema validation.
(the IRS really doesn't know how to communicate with humans, do they?)
So I guess there was something wrong with the employers' names (I have two W-2s)
The instructions just said to fill it out exactly like the W-2s I received. On the online form, it has two lines for employer's name. Am I supposed to fill one out? Both? It just has the company name on my W-2s.
3 AnswersUnited States8 years agoBra band pain solutions?
I’m having a lot of bra troubles. I was wearing 32dd bras, but I needed a bigger cup size and a smaller band size. I ordered some online and they fit very well, but the bands seem very itchy and painful, though the fabric seems pretty soft. I even have this problem with the new wireless bra I got, so I know it’s the elastic, not the wires. It especially digs into my back where the clasp is.
Is there any good solution to this? I really don’t like that I have to choose between support and comfortable skin.
1 AnswerWomen's Health9 years agoBra fitting question?
The bra system sucks.
I've got a small rib cage and large boobs, so I can't buy bras in stores. I've been wearing 32DDs from Victoria's Secret because it was the best I could find, but I need a bigger cup and a smaller band. The problem is that when I tighten the bras I have, the wires dig painfully against my rib cage, so it seems like a tighter band would hurt too much, but I really need more support! Any solutions?
Also, I'm debating about what size I should get because there is no standard agreement on how to measure your bra size (the add 4 or 5" rule is completely wrong!) I'm 26" around my ribs and 33" around my bust.

I need a 28H (28FF in U.K sizes). It would be great to find a website with a lot of options for this size, especially for a strapless bra.
1 AnswerFashion & Accessories9 years agoWhat do I do about this creepy guy?
I recently started working at a grocery store and I was talking to a woman there a few years older than me. It turned out we both went to the same high school. She said her brother, "Joe," was in my grade and it turned out that I knew him.
Joe liked me ever since we met, but I never liked him back. He was always very awkward...but in a scary way. He had anger issues and once threatened to bring a gun to school. Anyway, his sister must have told him that she met me because he friend requested me on Facebook. I accepted because I hadn't seen him in years and I figured he might have changed.
Today I was at work and he came by to get groceries. He seemed friendlier than I remembered him, so I felt better for a few seconds. Then he said, "You haven't changed a bit." I laughed and then he said, "No, seriously, you're the same skinny, curvy girl that I remembered." I felt really awkward, but I laughed it off and walked away.
When I got home, I went on Facebook and he sent me a message saying, "hey there, would u want to hang out sometime? just let me know u wacky girl u."
I'm just really worried...He seems a bit more mentally stable than when I knew him, but I still don't like him and I don't want him to like me. I definitely do not want him knowing where I live, but I live *right* next to where I work, so if he's ever there when I get off work, it would be very easy for him to find out.
Obviously, if he ever tries anything I'll be more willing to tell someone or call the police or whatever, but ideally that won't happen. Right now I'm just trying to figure out how to get the message across and avoid him. I also want to stay on friendly terms with his sister.
I do have a boyfriend, so I can tell him that, but I'm assuming he already knows that because I'm assuming he's looked at my Facebook.
Just trying to figure out all the options I have. Any suggestions are welcome.

What kind of God kills a woman for looking back at her home, but doesn’t raise a finger when a father is willing to let his own daughters be gang raped? (Genesis 19)
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIf you were one of the last people on earth?
and there was one person with you of the opposite sex, would you continue the human race or let it die out?
If it continues, there's the possibility of more wars, atrocities, and the depletion of Earth's resources.
If you let the human race die off, no one will be around to appreciate the beauty of art and music that we've created, and it makes humanities existence seem rather pointless.
Just a thought. Opinions?
15 AnswersPhilosophy9 years agoChristians: Why would a pro-life God command the killing of children and infants?
1 Samuel 15:2-3 “This is what the Lord Almighty says: ‘I will punish the Amalekites for what they did to Israel when they waylaid them as they came up from Egypt. Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.’”
Psalms 137:8-9 “O Daughter of Babylon, doomed to destruction, happy is he who repays you for what you have done to us—he who seizes your infants and dashes them against the rocks.”
Isaiah 13:15-16 “Whoever is captured will be thrust through; all who are caught will fall by the sword. Their infants will be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses will be looted and their wives ravished.”
Ezekiel 9:5-6 “As I listened, he said to the others, “Follow him through the city and kill, without showing pity or compassion. Slaughter old men, young men and maidens, women and children, but do not touch anyone who has the mark. Begin at my sanctuary.” So they began with the elders who were in front of the temple.”
Hosea 13:16 “The people of Samaria must bear their guilt, because they have rebelled against their God. They will fall by the sword; their little ones will be dashed to the ground, their pregnant women ripped open.”
Even if you say that the Old Testament was just a different time period, why would God tell them to kill everyone, including the children and infants? I can understand stricter rules and harsher punishments, but killing babies just because they were born among sinful people? Why would God ever command anything that was so obviously wrong? "...their pregnant women ripped open" would be abortion. "...their wives ravished" Isn't sex outside of marriage wrong, not to mention rape?
25 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoIf I was never really a Christian, how do you know you are now?
I was an Evangelical Christian for as long as I can remember until about a year and a half ago. Now I'm an atheist.
My parents always told me that anyone who said they used to be a Christian never was a "real" Christian, because you can't really lose your faith once you accept Jesus.
A woman on the train tried to convert me recently. She kept insisting that I must not have really been a Christian. It was annoying. I know that I was a Christian. I know that I took it very seriously. She lost all credibility in my eyes by insisting she knew more about my past beliers than I did.
Here's what my life was like as a Christian:
- I went to church every Sunday and was very involved in the youth group
- I went on mission trips with my church and helped save people
- I didn't swear, didn't drink, and believed saving sex for marriage
- I would only date Christians
- I knew the bible pretty well
- I was pro-life
- I believed the earth was 6,000 years old
- I accepted Jesus as my lord and savior
- I really, genuinely believed in God. I felt emotions which I interpreted as his presence in my life.
- I believed Christianity was all about a relationship with God, not just the good things you do. I would pray to God pretty often. It was very sincere prayer. I would talk to him about my problems and ask for forgiveness and strength for whatever happened throughout the day.
So if I was "never really a Christian", how do you know you are now?
10 AnswersReligion & Spirituality9 years agoHave any women *not* experienced street harassment?
I've seen a lot of comments on forums and blog posts lately where guys seem to think that street harassment is very rare and only happens to "sluts." I also was talking with my boyfriend the other day about comments I've gotten on the street and was surprised how worried he seemed, like this was something very unusual. I absolutely detest it, but it's really not that uncommon for it to happen.
What do you think? / What is your experience with this?
4 AnswersGender Studies10 years agoSomeone explain flamboyant gay people to me?
Alright, I know I have to start by saying this: I am in no way against gay people or gay rights!
I know that the flamboyant gay is a huge stereotype, but I've found that it holds true for a lot of gay people (I go to a liberal arts college, I see them *everywhere*). Gay guys don't bother me. Annoying, ditsy gay guys do. I get that they're trying to act feminine, but 1) I get really annoyed when girls act that way, so why would I like a guy doing that and 2) I find it offensive that their idea of acting feminine is to act annoying and ditsy. I've also noticed that it can't just be their personality. There are two gay guys I know of that I knew long before they came out. Before, you could kind of tell they were gay, but they still talked normally and were pretty down-to-earth. But as soon as they came out, they started acting so much more peppy and talking in girly voices. It seemed like they thought they needed to buy into the stereotype.
Any idea why some gay guys do this? I can't be the only one who gets really annoyed by it...
10 AnswersLesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender10 years agoHow to soothe vaginal itching?
I've had a bacterial vaginosis infection for the past week and a half. I used a home remedy of diluted hydrogen peroxide and it's mostly gone away. There's no more discharge and no more smell. The only thing that wont go away is the itching. It's driving me crazy! I have never had a worse itch in my life! I'm going to continue with the hydrogen peroxide until it's (hopefully) gone, I'm just wondering how to soothe it in the meantime?
4 AnswersWomen's Health10 years agoMen (women can give input too): Why are you convinced all women...?
There are a lot of things that bother me about the gender studies questions, but very few things bother me as much as when some men start to point out that all women are like "this" or all feminists are like "that." I am a woman and a feminist and I know what I am like, and most of the time it is completely different from how some of the men on here would assume.
According to their assumptions, since I am a woman:
- all my decisions are based on emotion, not logic (I am much more logical than emotional)
- I don't want sex very often or enjoy it very much (I love sex, have it often, and orgasm easily)
- I want a man for his wallet (my boyfriend is currently in college with a part-time job. So, pretty average as far as money goes. I had no idea how rich/poor he was before we started dating and I didn't care to ask or find out)
Since I am a feminist:
- I am probably a lesbian (I'm not)
- I am probably ugly as hell and/or fat (I'm not)
- I hate all men (I have a boyfriend and four amazing brothers that I love very much)
I just want to know why there are men that are convinced women or feminists are all like this even though there are so many that aren't. Any ideas, opinions, etc?
*I know there are plenty of men out there who do not believe all this, and I thank them for that*
12 AnswersGender Studies10 years agoI've had the same dreams as other people...?
This has happened three different times. One would take too long to explain, but here are the other two:
- I dreamed that my sister's boyfriend (who I can't stand) was a serial killer and I was trying to convince her to break up with him. The next day, I mentioned it jokingly to my sister and she said, "that's funny, he just dreamed he was a serial killer the other night." (creepy, I know)
- My boyfriend and I took a nap at his apartment. I dreamed we were sleeping on the couch when we heard a knock at the door. It was an old woman with wavy grey hair. She said she needed to check the plumbing. We let her in and she just stood there staring at me. My boyfriend dreamed we were sleeping on the bed and heard a knock. It was an old woman with wavy grey hair. She said she needed to check the heating or something. He saw her go into the next room and then she just stood there staring at me.
It was funny because he hardly ever remembers his dreams so he'll usually tell me when he has one. He started describing it and I'm just like wtf!?
Anyways, I'm usually not one to think this means anything, but I'm just wondering if this is something that happens to other people? And if anyone does think it means anything, feel free to tell me what you think
1 AnswerDream Interpretation10 years agoDoes this (short) article make sense to you?
I need someone to explain the possible thoughts behind the people who wrote this article:
http://health.yahoo.net/articles/mental-health/pho...
It lists these depression symptoms that men are more likely to have than women: fatigue, sleeping too much or too little, stomachache or backache, irritability, difficulty concentrating, anger/hostility, stress, anxiety, substance abuse, sexual dysfunction, indecision, and suicidal thoughts.
My problem with this article is that a lot of these are some of the most common symptoms of depression that I'm sure are very common among women. Sleeping too little, for example wouldn't make sense as a male symptom because women are much more likely to have insomnia, regardless of depression. Fatigue, stress, and anxiety seem like others that don't make sense as a uniquely male symptom. As for suicidal thoughts, it says right in the article that women attempt suicide more, but men are more likely to die from it. Wouldn't that imply that women experience suicidal thoughts just as much, if not more than men?
I'm not saying this article is trying to be sexist, but it makes it seem like they took the most common symptoms of depression and said "men are much more likely to experience this." So what do women experience? It makes it seem like depression among women is less of an issue because they don't have to deal with all those terrible "male symptoms." Does anyone else get that idea? Or does anyone know why they made the list that way?
4 AnswersGender Studies10 years agoWhy do I have trouble with sleep?
For the past few years I've been having a lot of trouble sleeping. On a good night I can get to sleep anywhere from 15-30 minutes, but on a bad night it can be an hour, two hours, or sometimes I wont sleep all night.
Then when I do sleep, I'll easily sleep for 10 hours straight, sometimes more. But no matter how much sleep I get, I tend to feel sleepy later in the day.
Please help?
I'm 19, female, and only drink a tiny bit of coffee in the morning.

My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday and I look great in it. It shows of my figure very nicely. My problem is that I don't have anywhere to wear it. It's way too sexy for everyday stuff, but I don't have formal stuff that I go to. I'm 19 and don't have school dances or cocktail parties. Any ideas that aren't too expensive? I'm in Chicago, if that helps.
