I am writing my midterm assignment on Canadian residential schools and need to relate two forms of development with 2 different psychological perspectives. I want to write about intergenerational trauma and how it affects the development of mental health and heredity in general. However, I am not sure which psych perspective to relate it to. Any help would be appreciated!

I recently got the iPhone X with IOS 13, ever since I got the phone I haven't received any Instagram notifications. All my other apps are working perfectly fine, and when I open Instagram I have many direct messages and other things that I was never notified about. I have tried deleting and re-downloading the app, restarting my phone, made sure do not disturb wasn't on, and checked my notification settings to make sure everything was on. Everything seems to be in working order but I'm still not getting any notifications.

For the most part I enjoy math. But I recently started learning about trig identities and I suck at it! But my main question is what even are they? What are they used for, and who uses them? How do they relate to anything in the real world?

I’m currently in grade 11 functions. Ever since I’ve been in high school I’ve always wondered the purpose of knowing how to graph lines and parabolas. I don’t see how it relates to anything in the real world, nor do I see the point of actually graphing functions in the first place.

In high school, calculus is the most failed course on average. Why do so many students not do well in it? And why hasn’t anyone tried to change the curriculum so more students can understand calculus?

My family is destroyed, I’m upset but I’m still able to function. I’m not in denial or anything. I wish I was more upset, I loved her to death. Why can’t I express my emotions?
