  • Why do some people still think marijuana is not safe?

Come on people, we're not in the 80s. There is absolutely nothing harmful about it. And for anyone who says "it's bad for your lungs" of course it is. But that isn't the plants fault. I could smoke spinach and it would be bad for my lungs. Does that mean it should be illegal? The people who say that are too stupid to realize that it can be eaten. It has numerous health benefits. Any arguments are invalid.

  • why did I feel so bad after throwing an empty soap bottle away?

The soap in the bathroom ran out so I got a new one. I threw the old one away and felt really guilty like the bottle had emotions and knew I was replacing it. So I had to pick it back up and put it back. Then my sister threw it away and I told her not to when she asked why I told her that I feel bad for it. Then she started laughing so I pretended I was joking. When she left the room I immediately picked it up and hid it in my room. Now I don't know if this is normal, I'm assuming it isn't, but can someone help me let go of this soap bottle?

  • What should I do about my mother feeding my rats junk and removing their source of water while I'm gone for the day?

Every Saturday I leave at about 4pm to go to my dad's house. I'm there until 3pm on Sunday, then I go home. During this time, my pet rats are left with extra food just in case they run out (which has NEVER happened), and two large water bottles. The problem is when I get home and go straight to my room to check on them, the water bottles are laying down right beside the cage, not connected to the bars where they should be. The first time this has happened I asked my mom if she knew why they were not hanging on the cage and she said no. I thought it might have fell on its own. Then it happened the next week and when I asked my mom the same question, I got the same answer. This has been happening every single weekend. She also has admitted that she feeds them while I'm gone which is not necessary, since they have their Oxbow food and carrots and Cheerios. Sometimes when I ask what they've been fed, she lies and says nothing. Sometimes she admits that she fed them. Last week, 2 Oreos. This week, a coffee cake, 2 cheese crackers, 2 slices of cheese, and a piece of chocolate cake. I always tell her when I leave not to feed them. I have never once told her to even check on them. I have made it a point to let her know I'm upset when she does this every week. I would take them with me to my dad's house but he doesn't like rats. She's being so immature, even my sister's friend has told me that she thinks it's weird how she goes in and won't leave them alone. How do I put an endtothis?

  • Is my rat sad? I'm worried?

I'm really concerned and sad myself because as I type, my rat has its head curled under its body and it's been like this for 10+ minutes. It is also breathing a little bit fatter than normal. And it is making this sound that sounds like rubbing your finger against a car window with condensation on it. Kind of squeaky but it is almost identical to that sound. I can't help but to think it is crying or giving some how. It has just now stopped and he is laying in his hideout just starting into space. Please help I am concerned.

  • Why was the rat not sold to me?

I was just in a pet store looking at the rats when I decided to get one. (I know you are not supposed to get rats at pet stores but it is truly my only option. I live in Maine and if you don't believe me you can look up rat breeders in Maine. You will discover that there are none. And I would rescue a rat, but again, there are none.) I saw this really cute black and white one. Upon asking an employee to let me see it, she did so and very briefly let me hold it. This rat was the sweetest pet store rat I've ever seen. It was not skittish at all, and loved being held. She pried it from my hands in less than 10 seconds of me holding it. Which was so coincidentally after I said I was going to buy it. She automatically said it had a cold, and it needed to see the vet. I said I will take it to the vet tomorrow. She said that they are not allowed to sell sick pets (which I knew was a lie, she had no idea if I was going to feed it to a snake or not.) I couldn't even put it on hold or whatever.

  • A question regarding UPS/USPS?

I had ordered multiple items about a week ago, some small, some large. Upon checking my email, I had seen that USPS had emailed me staying that the package could not be left unattended. This package contained one of the many items that I had ordered. So I rescheduled it for a later date. Will the other packages be sent to me on this date? Or will I have to call for each and every single package? I'm asking you people because I cannot speak with a real person even though I've tried everything. I thought ordering online was easy as putting in your address, and receive item in a box upon your doorstep. I guess this is not the case. Last time I checked it was pretty simple. I'm so frustrated because I want expecting this to happen, and then to top it off, I can't even talk to a human. I might just tell them to shove it up their asses and cancel the whole thing all together.

  • How does the big bang theory work?

I know what it is it just doesn't make sense. Before the universe was created, there was nothing. Nothing is something. What is nothing? There had to be something. And if there was nothing, then how did something suddenly appear and then explode? That something can't just come from nowhere. Which means that there really was something. And also, what happens if you go into space and just keep going in a straight line? Apparently it doesn't loop around and it does end. But it can't just end. Because there has to be something beyond that. I mean, would you just hit a wall or something? And how do people think they know things from 13 billion years ago?

  • Is this cage ok for one ferret?

    http://www.martinscages.com/products/cages/ferret/ -link

It's the first one. I'm only going to put the ferret in it when I absolutely can't supervise it. Which will be when I'm sleeping and a few hours during the day. I'm not sure if it's too small so I just want to hear other people's opinions. Preferably if you've owned a Martin's cage. Suggest another one for me if you don't think that one is good enough.

  • which ferret cage is best?

I've been looking at two cages- the Marshall small animal starter home or the ferret nation model 181 single unit. I can't decide which one since I've read good and bad reviews on both. Also, the Marshall one had more levels, but the ferret nation one has significantly more length. I'm only going to put one ferret in it. Please answer if you've owned either one of these cages.

  • Should I get a sugar glider, ferret, or chinchilla?

I've done research on all of them, so don't tell me that I am not fit to own any of those. I would like to know which one will most likely be your "friend" if you will. Like which one is more likely to "love" you and sit on your shoulder when you walk around and stuff like that. I've heard that chinchillas are not this type of animal, but I'm sure they will learn since they will live around 20 years. It's so hard to make a decision! Please only answer if you actually know what you're talking about. preferably if you have owned any of these pets.

  • How can I convince my mom to buy me a ferret?

She said she won't get me one because she thinks the concept of a caged animal is cruel. I tried to explain that I will be playing with it 4 or more hours a day and that it has toys, a bed, food and water and she still doesn't care. I really want one because I'm home alone almost everyday with nothing to do. I'm pretty lonely to be completely honest. I've done so much research and I'm 100% sure that a ferret is the pet I want. I'm really mad at her because to me, having a ferret is more than some stupid animal in a cage. For me, it would be a best friend since it lives for 10 years. Please tell me how to convince her that a caged animal is not cruel unless you keep it in its cage 24/7! I would be so much happier with a ferret to play with and hang out with! I used up a lot of my free time finding out EVERYTHING about them, from their diet to how to make a ferret happy. Tell me how to convince her!

  • what is a fairly cheap pet that is loyal to its owner and low maintenance?

I was thinking about getting a pet that is pretty loyal. By that I mean one that will recognize its owner and will let you carry it everywhere. I was thinking maybe a snake but then I saw that people had said that they are not capable of having emotions towards their owner. Is that true? If so, could you please suggest another pet that meets my criteria? I've been bored lately
