all my desktop files disappeared and when i click where there was one before it comes back ! but when i close my computer and reopen it , it's all gone again! but all the files are in my macintosh HD ? i don't understand and i looked everywhere, please help :(

Yeah so maybe it will be hard for me to explain ,but i opened my computer 2 days ago and everything on my desktop has disappear , and believe me there was a lot of stuff, and now wherever a click on my desktop and there was for example a picture before, the picture reappear , that's very annoying and i hope i can fix that so that everything will be back , and if i click everywhere a lot of things are coming back but when i close the computer and open it again , it's all empty :( thanks for your help!!!
