I have some documents (text only) that I want to share between my desktop and laptop (both mac). All I want on the cloud, at the moment, are these 3-4 papers I'm working on. Suggestions as to which would be better, would be appreciated.

I can plug the reader into the USB and put the card into the reader. The light on the reader lit up, but I still can t upload my pics. What gives? Running Mavericks

The idea was to make it so that the computer would require a password when I came back to it after a period of inactivity.

So, I come up to the computer and the screen is black. I push a button, it lights up and requests my password, which I enter. Then, the desktop comes up. But it's shut down as many programs as it can in the time I was away.

In cases like Word, there will be a prompt asking if I want to "save"my docs. In other words, it tried to shut down Word, but got hung up because I hadn't recently saved my work. It is shutting down Magic Jack which is not ideal, because that is what we use for our home phone.

I don't know what he did and he doesn't have time to help me. Ack!

It's a Macintosh desktop.

Hubby tried to set up my computer (Macintosh desktop) so that it would require a password after it had been inactive for a time. But, whatever he did, it's trying to close all my programs. So when I enter my password, there are message boxes like Magic Jack was unable to close. This is annoying. Does anyone know how to undo this? He doesn't have time to figure it out. I've tried on my own and I'm getting no where fast.

My 3 year old has an intermittent lazy eye. She's been seen for it before, but it's been awhile and we've moved. There aren't any network ped. eye docs in our service area (within an hour drive). Our insurance is trying to send us to a network provider in our area who is an opthamologist. Do you think it's worth fighting to take her to a pediatric opthamologist or would a regular one be okay?

If there isn't a specialist available within a 60 minute drive, they have to let me take her to the doc of my choice. But I'm already fighting them over some charges and I am wondering if it's worth the frustration to try to make them change the authorization to a pediatric doctor.

I was having trouble with Safari, so I did a Reset All Content and Settings. I think the battery may have run out while it was resetting.

Now, when I try to turn it on, it indicates it needs to be plugged in. So, I have it plugged in for a full day now and it still indicates an empty/nearly empty battery. It mostly displays the apple logo while it is plugged in. What do I do? Please tell me I haven't ruined the thing. It's an iPhone 2 or 3, I think.

Just found out I'm pregnant with #3. In previous pregnancies, I'd feel sick on an empty stomach. But this time I get queasy after I eat. Isn't that really weird? Has anybody else had that problem?

Looking at taking my 20 month old camping next month. Is it okay for her to sleep in a child's size sleeping bag?

Some areas of my back have been numb since my c-section. I keep thinking sensation will return, but it's been nearly a year now. I think it was the spinal anesthesia or the local anesthesia. Anyone else have this? Did it go away? If so, when?

Has anyone sent frosted cookies to their soldier? I'm worried that they will spoil faster. Any experience/thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Is your baby a righty or a lefty? And when did you notice? I think my daughter is left-handed, but she's only four months. Am I reading too much into things?

I've been reading a lot in the news about Sharia law. I would like to learn more about it. Are there any reliable websites I could go to?

My cat has been having hair balls much more frequently than normal. He usually has 1-2 dense hair balls per year.

Since January, he's hacked up three. Two were pretty insignificant. The third was normal for him (looked like a mini turd). I did talk to his vet about it between hairballs #2 and #3 and he didn't seem concerned. But cat's still hacking like there's more in there. Otherwise he is in perfect health with clear eyes, good coat, good teeth. He's been getting into the dog food once in a while. Other than that, I can't think of anything that has changed.

Would you be worried?

I was registering the other day and found breast milk storage bags and bottles for storing milk. The bottles were basically the standard baby bottle with a plug to put where the nipple would go.

I was thinking that the bottles would be good for milk that would be stored in the fridge for use the next day. Or I could use the bottle as I pump during the day to then put in the bags for freezing. Does this sound like a good system?

I'm going to be staying at home with baby, so I'll only need the pumped milk occasionally (when I'm sick, want to drink, or for Daddy/baby bonding time).

Any advice? I feel a little out of my depth here.

I bought an item on ebay Saturday before last (9 days ago). Shipping should have been Priority Mail through the US Postal Service (that's what I paid for). It should have taken about 3 days to get to me.

Last week on Thursday I sent a message to the seller asking when the item had been put into the mail. I sent a similar message again this Saturday. I have received no response to either message and have not received the item. How much longer should I wait to report?

I understand there are some people in the adoption section who feel they lost a great deal in being adopted. But is there anyone who after meeting their birth family were really grateful they had been raised by someone else?
