I dropped out in 11th grade 17 years ago. I have been going off and on to a community college for the past 10 years. I was recently laid off from my job and wanted to get into a nursing program in January . I am enrolled for 13 credits for the fall semester . Should I take the GED exam or can I qualify for a HS Diploma -

I have always had positions where I made over $20 an hour- education was not a priority so please no drop out remarks thank you !

i am having a party for my daughter and we are doing a move in the yard. I have th Al-100 projector which has sound but not loud enough for 10 kids:) i bought an ipod dockng station at Radio schack and teh salesman told me I could hook it up to the Dvd player with this cable he gave me , but it does'nt work. It has teh audio plug for the speakers and a red and white plug on teh other end . am taking the cable back today , but do you have any suggestions

we went to the office today at noon around 4 she spit out some white plastic should I take her back or do you think it was just extra something on the toooth

I just moved and they are doing work inside with dry wall etc.. There is a ton of white dust. I think it may be better to leave my 2 rabbits in there cage outside for a few days.. They would be under an awning and the weather is not supposed to be to hot... what are your thoughts do you think it will be to traumatic?? i would put them in the basement , but they painted the floor and the smell is gross. It can't be good for there lungs

We had a discussion today and we could not agree. My uncle said that if he paid for my daughters catholic school tuition it would be a tax deduction for him even though its not a deduction when I pay it . Does anyone know if this is true

we are under contract for a property at 162,500 bank owned property. we just had inspection and found the roof needs to be replaced the back porch needs to be resided the oven door is not on properly it fell on my foot. the heating duct is not put in to the bathroom yet

Do you think they will a fix some of the issues

or reduce the price of the house.

I would prefer they meet us half way with the repairs

Her dad told me this morning the boy had a blood test He is only 2 she is 51/2 . They where together saturday and sunday morning

I owe unemployment about $6900 I pay every month about $100 the interest is about $45 so it does'nt go down much. They wont due a payment arrangement. They only take check & money orders. I would have had it payed off if the State would take a credit card

Ok My boss just told me starting 1/1/09 I will loose 1 day of wages which is $10,000. Currently I have her dog at my house who pees on my carpet and she lets me go at 3:30 to let her out I live 26 miles away from work . She wants me to keep the dog still work mon-fri and take a pay cut. I am a single mom and have tuition etc...My expenses like gas and aftercare wont go down but my wage will. How do I tell my boss I cant accept this offer . That a whole day off is a better option so I can get work elsewhere. I know the economy is bad and I am Lucky to have Job , but I feel like I am being screwed . she does pay for dog food . On my home I have to drop stuff at her daughters which is 9 miles out of my way almost every day. She has a lot of money andhad the nerve to say is $10,000 going to make that much of a difference. For a single mom like myself YES!!

I pay all bills pay for food for her dog

She moved to florida 21/2 years ago. This summer she came home to see my daughter and for work while she was [paying for her place in florida. She has now decided to stay and keeps complaining about sleeping on the couch things I am doing around the house the mess in the basement that is 75% hers Thayt its stupid for her to leave because its her house.. This house was left to her by my aunt she did not buy it.

I work full time and do everything I can . She has been working part time and drinks beer at night.

Before she had left she said "it was my house now and to do what I want".

So I have remolded both bedrooms and I am starting the downstairs. . She has given me nothing is using my laundry detergent eating my chips and runs a second air conditioner all night.. She finally just gave me $20 for dog food that I have been paying for 2 years I have paid for her dog to get groomed etc.. She does not help me with my kid. Since she has been home she picked her up from camp once. All she complains about is watching disney all the time.

I can't move right now between school tuition car payment etc... I have put about 2500 in to the house already. What should I do am I wrong for staying

How do I handle her? I feel like she is a kid intead of my 55 year old mom

She has just gotten of prozac to make things worse
