Hello. I'm a teenage girl, who moved to the United States from Europe six years ago. I speak English well, so I understand what people in my school say. I'm also quiet, so I observe my surrounding a lot. Today in my Spanish class we were learning Roman numerals. It was a surprise because I learned that in 2nd grade, while I lived in Europe. I'm in 9th grade (Freshman), by the way. As the teacher was writing out the Roman numerals on the board, the people in my class began making ignorant comments. They were saying things such as ''This is so stupid!" or ''Who needs this crap?" Even though I was quietly sitting in my seat, I was really frustrated on the inside. Can't they understand that these numerals were used for thousand for years? They think that if something it different, it got to be stupid. I just can't stand people like that and I would give them a whole lecture on Roman numerals, so they would stop their close-minded comments for good. I'm not saying all Americans are ignorant, but most of them are, especially teenagers. Why are some Americans ignorant? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

I was wondering because I drink 8 cups of water and go to the bathroom around 6-9 times a day. Is this normal? Any advice appreciated.

Lately, I've been reading about this condition and realized that I have many of its symptoms. I'll give you a list of what I experience:

-My face is pale and I have under eye circles.

-I often feel tired and lack concentration.

-I rarely have an appetite and sometimes feel depressed.

-Sometimes I get pains in my chest.

-My hands and feet are always cold.

-I have a hard time breathing sometimes.

I think my poor diet has to do something with this. I rarely eat meat and fish. I mostly eat foods such as fruits, vegetables, dairy, and carbohydrates. Am I anemic? Any advice is appreciated.

For some reason, my arms never swing while I walk. People think it looks strange. I just hope I'm not the only one. :o

Every time I stand up or move, my bones in my legs make a loud cracking sound. It's so loud that the people in my class hear it every time I stand up. I also have a pretty poor diet. I'm not saying I eat junk food, I just rarely eat meat and fish. Could this be the reason my bones crack frequently? Any advice is appreciated. :)

Mine is always in a ponytail. My hair is thick, so when it's down it always gets in my face. :|

I'd much rather go to school than stay home. Not only do I like seeing my friends but I also like learning new topics. It just keeps me occupied. Is anyone else like this?

Hi, I'm a 15 year old girl. My height is 5'8" and I weigh 138lbs. I'm always cold, especially in school. I'm even cold in my warm uniform sweater. I don't eat much but I'm not anorexic, I'm just not hungry. My daily diet consists of an omelet for breakfast, tuna sandwich for lunch, and salad for dinner. I rarely eat meat. If I do, it only happens on holidays. I barely exercise as well. Do you think this is causing me to be cold? Any advice is appreciated. Have a nice day!

I'm a young girl who is in High School. I'm nice, get good grades, and quiet. However, people seem to dislike me. Some even talk behind my back. I think this has to do with me being quiet. Throughout my school years, I've been bullied, mainly for being the class nerd. I always did good in school and was a quiet person. I'd never brag about something like my grades because I'm not that kind of person. So, I think this is why people dislike me. But I think it's such a silly thing to do. I never harmed anyone in any way and I avoid drama as much as possible. I just want to make more friends but people never give me a chance. Do you guys have any advice? I'm taking a break starting today.

I'm a Freshman in High School and I've been noticing most girls wanting a boyfriend, badly. They impress guys by dying their hair, applying a lot of make-up, and dressing in revealing clothes. What happened to being natural? I really don't see the point of having a boyfriend in High School. Most teenage guys are immature and only want one thing, so why bother? Some of my friends go for total jerks that leave them heart broken, but they go look for another one. I don't understand why girls can't focus on their education first and date in college. Why do teenage girls feel the need to have boyfriends?

I do but I quickly look away. I find it uncomfortable.

Did you change your mind as you grew older?

I wanted to be a language interpreter at first, but now I want to be a doctor.

People have told me that I lack common sense, so I'm guessing I'm book smart. What about you?

I'm not. Some people actually told me to smile more. :o
