So We rent a condo from a couple living a few provinces away, we are quiet for the most part, rarely have problems. But our suite is kind of messy.

the Condo Board apparently told us "clean it or we'll do it for you" and threatened to have us Pay for it. Now my question is, we arent filthy..but it is a bit messy and way too much stuff crammed into too small of a place.

Can the condo board make demands like this legally?

we are from Alberta if that matters, Edmonton.

I am Canadian, born to canadian Parents, however all my ID was stolen in the last year and I have encountered a problem. While I AM canadian, I was born in germany, and I have struggled to figure out who I need to contact in order to get my birth certificate re-issued. I went to Alberta motor registries and they will not re issue ID without a birth certificate. I am not in contact with my parents and have no real way to contact them. Is there anyone I can contact, or any program help out there to get the ball rolling for me to get my Birth certificate back?

So we are looking at renting a house, rent is 900 so I assume damage deposit is the same. We where giving an application form and told we needed t put down a 500 dollar deposit to show we where serious about wanting to rent

My roommate is convinced this is a scam, and Ive seen it before myself, properties asking for a deposit before they rent(and I got the money back moving in) is this legal? illegal? what should we do?

When I moved into the apartment Im currently living in, we where told pets where allowed, so we moved in with two cats. We have lived here now for four years. Today we got a notice under the door telling us no pets and if we didnt comply we would be fined. Is there anything we can do?

So I had a computer monitor with a resolution of 1920x1200 it finally died on me. Now I have a Toshiba TV that has the connector for HDMI and DVI/VGA I plugged it in and it runs fine however. This tv is twice the size of my monitor..yet can only seem to run a maximum resolution of 1360x768 when plugged in VIA the DVI/VGA, yet the resolution gets marginally better with the HDMI plugged in. (ive been told not to use the HDMI on TV monitors for some reason) my question is...why is my resolution worse with a bigger screen?

Okay so this started a few days ago. I turn off my monitor when I go to sleep and set my computer to sleep mode. Lately when I turn my computer on opening any tabs makes the screen go black. The monitor doesn't shut off, the computer is still running and I have to turn my monitor off and on a few times to make it stop. As it will go to a black screen more then once.

Ive tried a clean install of my gpu card, ive restarted my computer. I dont know whats going on. Help

He was sleeping on my bed, I was at my desk gaming quietly. He murrs and meows in his sleep but keeps sleeping. An hour later...he screams...cries, gets up and instantly crawls into my lap, visibly shaking, purring and kneading me like hes a kitten. he's 7 years old. Ive never seen him do this...whats up?

Well the fans in my new computer are rather loud but that isnt the biggest issue, the back fan is blowing out really hot air. Should I be worried?

So A while back my wallet was stolen. Inside was my Sin Card, my Birth Certificate and Photo ID. Today..I am screwed because in order to get my Photo ID, they require a birth certificate. However, I was not born in canada and was born in Germany. I am not in contact with my family for reasons..but have no idea how to start. I cant get my photo ID without a birth certificate and would need one, How do I go about getting my Birth certificate when I was born in Germany.(I do beleive I have canadian citizenship as I had all my ID before) I am from Alberta and live in edmonton, so if anyone could get my in touch with the right person or company to help me..that would be awesome.

The one on the back of my computer is noisy, the one on the top is fine, the cpu fan and video card fan are fine....so can I "disable" the fan on the back without any worry until I can replace it? or will my computer blow up?

It's a giant case with lots of space and I keep the side open anways.

So my Tower has of course, its CPU fan, the video card fan PSU fan and a fan on the top of the tower and one on the back. The one on the back sounds like a god damn chainsaw...and (i know it needs to be replaced but no money) I was curious..if I can STOP it. (unplug it) and not overheat my system. If I keep it ventilated etc.
