  • Flash diffuser for 320EX?

I'm looking for a StoFen-like diffuser for the Canon 320EX, yet I can't find anything described specifically for this. Will the StoFen made for the 430EX fit?

  • Wireless-triggered camera flash: Canon 7D?

I've been into photography for a couple of years, but I've only recently appreciated the need to an off-camera flash. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a lot of information about using them.

I have the canon 7D, and I also bought a Zeikos ZE-440, E-TTL II enabled just this week. I'm not interested in using this as a hot-shoe flash, I want to be able to move the flash around my subject.

The Canon 7D has a built-in wireless flash capability.

    > Do any flashes have built-in wireless receivers that are compatible with this?

    > Do all wireless devices operate on the same channels and frequencies?

    > Do I need to buy both the trigger and receiver - or can the Canon act as the trigger?

    Thanks a lot!

  • Best laptop for viewing photos?

I'm trying to find the best available laptop for viewing high resolution photos (18MP, RAW). I'm not concerned about memory or card readers - but moreso which laptop is best at displaying the color quality from my Canon 7D. Any suggestions?

  • Looking for a new lens?

I just bought myself a Canon EOS 7D as an upgrade from the Canon Rebel XT, which I've had for about four years. I've exclusively used the Tamron AF18-270mm F/3.5-6.3 Di II VC (Vibration Compensation) LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Lens, which I'm extremely happy with. I'm not sure if the lens is limiting the capabilities of the 7D though. Any thoughts or experience?

If you were to recommend a replacement for the Tamron or an additional lens, what would it be? I've shot mostly landscape and HDR.

  • Professional photographers: Canon 5D Mark II or Canon 7D?

Is it worth spending an additional thousand dollars on the Mark II for full frame and 21 MP - or is the 7D a similar quality camera?

  • In Army Basic Training, are you allowed to use a Camelbak?

My friend is going to Basic Training this summer, and as a going away gift, I was thinking about getting him a Camelbak water bag. Would he be allowed to have and use this?

  • Socks made of under armour material?

I'm looking for thin socks to use to ski - I don't need any insulation, the boot gives enough - and I am trying to find socks that are made from the same material as the Under Armour spandex shirts. I think they may be called Under Armour Heatgear Recharge OTC, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know, or have alternatives?
