Why do some people feel that they are entitled to what you've earned whenever you two are closer in the relationship? ( friendships & friendships + lovers, I'm not talking about life companioins )

I experience this with a certain percentage of people in my life. A close friend who refuses to work, an intimate friend + lover who refuses to obtain consistent income. Since I work 60 hours a week and make pretty good money and they seem to always be riding that line of just making, they seem to feel that we should both end up with the same compensation.

They don't seem to acknowledge that we also have different levels of contribution which causes our levels of compensation. I am always quick to help whenever they move, need a favor, need someone to vent on, I always pay for both in whatever we do together, etc. I have also given them money when they needed it due to their refusal to provide for themselves adequately. But I am refusing to continue to give them money now.

I have never imposed anything whatsoever from them as I am very independant minded.

Am I selfish or greedy for not wanting to give them more than I've already given?

Is it wrong for me not to partially provide for an intimate friend + lover?

Hello, I'm having a toga party and am trying to think of ideas that will make it pop. I'm thinking a fog machine & fruit platters set out. What else will make it a cool party?

Why do people care about things that don't have any value like useless trivia?

Why do schools force kids to memorize capitals of countries they will never go to? What good does that do?

Why do people care about what year something happend in? If they thought it happened a few years off would it make any difference?

Why do people focus on Jeopardy trivia but ignore wisdom & valuable knowledge that would actually makes a difference in their lives?

In your opinion, what change needs to be done in terms of the human condition. On the scale of the individual or the collective.

After the irritable stage, what then is to be expected?

The sex drive provides so much life energy, I'm just wondering if kept inside oneself, would it result in increased energy, passion, mindfulness, umph etc.

I know that it is true that professional fighters refrain from sex prior to a fight.

Why did Jesus say " It is better to put your seed in the belly of a whore than to spill it on the ground."?

How to get to that state of being where the eyes are shining and everything is new and fresh? Where everything seems possible and you feel lost in experience soaking up every sensation that life has to offer?
