I've recently been working on a comic book project that I'm feeling pretty good about. The only problem? I'm god awful at art, unable to draw a simple stick figure good. I was just wondering what would be a good place to find artists looking for work and with a negotiable rate of payment.

Alright, first things first, I don't want any of that "manmade gods are never benevolent....Jesus Christ is the one true god" or crap like that. I just want to know which god, considering all cultures, was the kindest to humanity or fought to protect them the most.

Alright, so while writing a second draft of a story with people that had superpowers and bad guy superpower people. Anyways, I was considering rewriting one of my character and I was looking for suggestions. What type of character would you like to see with superpower characters? Like a punk, clergyman, etc.

P.S. I already have a goth and a derelict. So, afraid I have to decline those suggestions.

The main premise of the story is that a superbeing cult convinces a large population of superbeings that they are superior to humans and should kill them in a Darwin like evolution. It eventually leads to a massive war that happens in Seoul, Korea near the end of the book. My main question, do you have any suggestions towards a third party. I have a large pile of ideas for later chapters but I am currently struggling. Do the fine people of yahoo answers have any ideas? As a side question, anything you think my story definitely needs?

My question is a little more detailed that that. I was wondering do military footsoldiers actually assign nicknames to one another like in call of duty (e.x. Grinch, Ghost, etc.) If so, is there any specific way this works. Any websites that contain this information or any helpful suggestions are appreciated?

P.S. I have already done my research and found plenty of pilot callsigns. My question focuses more on the ground units like Marines and Army.

I mean anything from World War 3, Natural Disaster or Giant Alien invasion. Tell me your personal opinion in how you think the world will end and why you think so.

So, I'm writing a futuristic novel with heroes and the like. So, a little background on the story: Humans have terraformed six different planets and set up big colonies. The German's invented a Special Forces unit that specializes in killing superbeings after a couple of unfortunate events which resulted in the deaths of a lot of people. (Nothing against Germans by the way, just liked how the name sounded for the Special ops.) So, the Colonial planets are split into three different factions: For, Against and Neutral about the extermination of superbeings. It's basically resulted in a Colonial Civil War between the for and against. Anyways, superbeings fled to a for planet and some are helping save some of the superbeings trapped on planets with the Gott Mortem (German Special Ops). Alright, here are the characters.

Jinny Cooper- A teenage girl who has snowy white wings with an 11 ft. wingspan. She likes auto mechanics and is a bit of a tomboy. I thought about the Angel but that sounded so cheesy and lazy.

Othello Braka- The head of the group of superheroes who extract superheroes in the hostile territory. He can mimic other people's power (Like Peter Petrelli from heroes before they ruined his character) and he is often blunt about the situation they are in. I thought about something like Bishop but once more, sounded kind of lazy.

Elijah Ortelius- A bit of dick unless he really likes someone, he can shoot concussion beams from his right hand (Like Cyclops, except...you know....hand). I couldn't really think of a good name for him.

Feel free to throw in a character of your own creation if you want. You'll find a decent list of superpowers in superhero nation. In return for helping with my problem, I will work this character in mainly because I have no other way to thank you.

I have three different societies I have created. Where would you like to see the settings.

1. Newmage- A society that loves the art of battle. They are pacifistic, loving only the way to do battle not the actual battle. They tame and use snakes as pets for the mighty and rich. The area is marshy and gender is fully equal.

2. Macklos- A patriarchal society that is best known for it's advancement in naval technology. They are constantly at the throats at their neighboring country of Kiva-Ny and their main source of income is fish. The area around them is miles upon miles of flat plains with the occasional mountain thrown in. Their animals are wolves, used by warriors and nobles.

3. Kiva-Ny- A matriarchal society which often respond in a similar manner to all of Macklos's threats and their main source of income is animal hides and such. (Imagine it like the amazons.) They work on a caste system with warriors being the highest and men being the lowest. The area around them is dense jungle which is almost impossible to navigate to an outsider. Their animal is the panther, raised by all of Kiva-Ny's women.

So, I'm writing this book and I've created four different societies. I need help making slang for one of the societies. It's a matriarchal society called Kiva-Ny. The slang I need most is for men. Suggestions of jewels and birds*** have been made. Here are some things you'll need to know I think. .

-they are run on a caste system with warrior caste being the highest and men are the lowest.

-Their religion is that the Sun is a bird call a Rock, which is bad and the moon is a jaguar which hunts the Rock, and he is good.

-They live in a jungle terrain

-The more extravagant the hair style the more of a status they hold

-They have a giant pyramid in the middle of their main city

-they have jaguars as pets

Okay, so I have this book that I'm writing. It's about four different crusaders being called on by the gods to stop this large demon from rising. The first book is about how they have to pass a trial and get the gods' relics which were given to the last crusaders. I have a title "Crusaders' Conquest" but I'm not exactly crazy about it. Do you have any suggestions, viewers and writers of Yahoo answers?
