Wassup, Im Rick James lol :) not really haha. But here's a little about me: I am 18 years old and a couple years more mature than most of my 18year old friends. Im a democrat, even though things are not looking to good for us right now (I hope Sarah Palin runs in 2012, cuz she's the only one who could loose that election for the republicans haha) Im a college student at Cal State Fullerton -Go Titans! and i am a die hard 49ers fan. Don't get it twisted, the Niners will make the playoffs in 2010-2011 season. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ, and believe that the bible is the word of god and do my best to follow its commands (No false christian doctrine here). I live in california- the best state this side of nevada... not counting Hawaii, cuz that island is awesome! I like to be the funny guy, but if i dont humor you, im probably just obnoxious (but im always so funny that ive never had that problem). My favorite TV show is naruto shippuuden. I even read the manga.

  • Who is at fault in this accident and what will be the punishment handed down?

This is a hypothetical accident that my friend created and we made a bet on who is at fault.

    Scenario:

My friend Leo and I get in an argument while playing soccer and out of spite I kick the ball into the street to make him run and get it. He runs into the street to get the ball and is nearly avoided by a car which swerves off the road and strikes a street light. The street light breaks and falls into the street crushing and killing Leo. Who is at fault in this accident? Why? And if you have any actual proof it'll really help settle the bet :)

  • How do you define feminism?

I saw a post on Upworthy today entitled "If You Still Don't Think We Need Feminism, You Should See The Signs These Girls Were Bullied For" and it caused a little bit of confusion for me.

The post: (it's like 9 pictures, not an article)

    http://www.upworthy.com/if-you-still-dont-think-we...

According to Webster's dictionary feminism is "the theory of the political, economic, and social equality of the sexes". I don't think some of those posts fit under that definition.

Honestly I don't feel like that blanket statement is precise enough to explain the goals of modern day feminists. What is feminism to you today and what are some of the issues that feminism is looking to deal with?

  • If you had the opportunity, would you fight somebody who was talking head on a MMO?

Imagine you're playing League of Legends or any other online multiplayer game and somebody who's got some keyboard courage is calling you out to a fight, then backs up the keyboard courage with some actual courage and posts their address with an invite to come get f***ed up. Best part is that the address is 30min from your house!

This happened to me today and my manhood wants me to go lay him out (i'm pretty confident), but my brain is telling me ima get shot haha

    What would you do?

  • Does the phrase "no homo" deserve a $75,000 fine?

“The momentum could have shifted right there if [James] got an easy dunk,” Hibbert said. “There was what ‑‑ was it Game 3 here? I really felt that I let Paul down in terms of having his back when LeBron was scoring in the post or getting to the paint, because they stretched me out so much. No homo.”

"That two-word phrase was popularized by rappers who, according to Slate, used it to “rid [statements] of possible homosexual double-entendre” and, generally speaking, to ”acknowledge and distance themselves” from homosexuals."

    source:

    http://nba.si.com/2013/06/02/roy-hibbert%E2%80%A6

My question is: In your opinion, why does Roy Hibbert deserve so much heat, and the fine, for the statement that he made? Or are people being over sensitive about the issue? Why or why not?

  • Calculus Homework Help (Min/max problem)?

For the second time this semester i can't solve the math problem that i must write an essay on. This is the question:

A power line is to be constructed from a power station at point A

to an island at point C, which is 1 mile directly out in the water

from point B on the shore. Point B is 4 miles downshore from

the power station at point A. It costs $5000 per mile to lay the

line water and $3000 per mile the lay the power line

underground. At what point S downshore from A should the line

come to shore in order to minimize the cost? Note S could very

well be B or A. [Hint: the length of CS is root(1+x^2)]

    Help please :)

  • Find the equation of a tangent line... with a twist?

The problem I must solve is:

Find all points (a,f(a)) on the graph of 2 f (x) = x^2 where the line

tangent to the graph of y = f(x) goes through the point (2,-5).

My problem is that i don't know how to find the equation of the tangent line that passes thru (2,-5) AND is tangent to the curve X^2 WITHOUT a point given on the curve.

I have to write an essay explaining my process and can't even figure it out myself :/

  • What is your response to this controversial sermon by David Platt?

The sermon was entitled "Why "Accepting Jesus In Your Heart" Is Superstitious & Unbiblical"

    Video (3min):

    http://youtu.be/JPhEEzjU8xQ

I feel like the title is self explanitory, however the video is only an excerpt (i have yet to find the entire thing for free :P)

Does his message conflict with your beliefs? Is he correct or wrong? Is he preaching the hard lesson that needs to be spoken or is he off his rocker? Or is he mostly right and wrong in a certain aspect or situation? All opinions are valid because they're opinions :) \

  • Can somebody please tell me which episodes of Hitman Reborn are fillers so i can skip them... I'm on episode 1?

I've picked up a new anime for the summer and i don't like watching fillers. It would be awesome if somebody could tell me which arcs are fillers and what episode they fall on so i can skip them. If you only know one or two that's or don't know the episodes, only what they're doing that's fine too.

  • Opinion on Proposition 8?

Is it possible from a christian perspective to be indifferent or supportive of proposition 8 (gay marriage thing) and still condemn homosexuality? Or do you believe that to be okay with gay marriage under the law to be synonymous with being okay with the act of gay marriage?

  • Why do people feel secure in asking for strangers to watch their belongings?

I go to college at CSU Fullerton and have noticed a trend. People seem to feel more safe having left their stuff with somebody they ask to watch it for them. Ive been asked over a dozen times "Can you watch my stuff for me?" as people walk off to get lunch, use the bathroom, and go to their car. But my question is why would people ask a complete stranger to protect their belongings?

I have a couple of theories myself, but just want to know what you guys think...

Best answer will be given :)

  • Is the International Church of Christ a cult?

Long question please read all of it, but if not --Short Question summary in Paragraph 3 :)

I go to Cal State Fullerton and am a dedicated Christian. On my campus is a church group known as Alpha Omega that is a part of the International Church of Christ (ICOC) Los Angeles, OC region. They do bible discussions "Bible Talks" on campus and offer individual bible studies to help people get that deeper relationship with god. They preach the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ as lord and savior, Evangelism, Prayer and Reading, Baptism, and Making daily decisions to live for God.

I've done my research into their doctrine and it seems to all be backed in scripture. (See Sources for doctrine) Then when i type in Icoc in google the #4 result is "Icoc cult". However, the majority of the stuff about them being a cult is about this guy named Kip Mcean and is over 5years old. I addressed this with two of their members separately (one leader, one not) and they claim to be avoiding the man and his group which is also on campus (Rise Christian Students/City of Angels/"whatever their new name is").

If this group is a cult they had me fooled. Does anybody see any holes in their doctrine or have personal stories or experiences with this group? The Orange County Church of Christ? International Church of Christ? Preferably recent stuff :)

I'm looking for serious answers about this very serious topic (my salvation). Please help me out. If you could find it in your heart to take the time to look over their doctrine it would be extremely helpful. If you don't know the answer or find this question interesting please star it so i can get more answers :)

...No Atheists please (unless you have something constructive to say, but otherwise please consider other questions to troll)

  • What is the name of this religious doctrine?

I am a Christian, and was approached by a friend telling me that his doctrine is the truth... this is basically what he was trying to prove to me:

    1) Black people are the "Real Jews" meaning god's chosen people mentioned in the old testament

    2) That we must follow the Law of Moses (i've only noticed him not eating pork and refusing to work on the Sabbath)

Im kinda confused as to what conventional faith this is, and i cant research it/disprove it if i don't know what im talking about. If you know what faith he's professing and would like to tell me And/Or prove/disprove it that would be great. Thanks for the help

  • What is your opinion on Rahim Moore's hit on Donald Jones in the Broncos v Bills game?

People are calling it a vicious hit, and he's probably going to get fined for it, if he hasn't by the time i post this question. But the question is weather or not you think it was an illegal hit and/or if you think it should be an illegal hit.

  • What is the "Endgame" of Fairy Tale the Anime/Manga?

Ive been watching the show up until the end of Oracion Seis and it seems to simply run in circles. Does anybody know what the point of fairy tale is?

    to put it another way...

Is there a point to the story/ climax coming in the future. (Example: In Naruto the obvious Anime is heading towards Sasuke v. Naruto and Everybody v. Madara and Naruto becoming Hokage - or dying). Does fairy tale head towards a moment like that? Maybe finding the reason that the dragons have disapeared and doing something about it? Finding Igneel?

Thank you if you know :)

  • why do i keep getting kicked out of maple story for hacking?

I know ur thinking "because you're a hacker" but thats the point. Im not a hacker. I dont know how, and i have the moral fortitude to refrain from if i did. Im minding my own business trying to noob my way up to lvl 80 and then it says something like "you have been removed from... for the hacking reason". Just wondering why.

Some possible explanations could be that:

    1) I like to use my Aran's combat step ability while coming off ledges making me launch long distance.

    2) I've been playing all day...
