  • Can I get ammunition delivered to me same day?

I live in Texas. Is there a service that I could pay someone to buy ammunition for me, then delivery it to me, and I pay the price of the ammunition plus a fee for their time? Are there any services that I could buy the ammunition online, and then receive it curbside without having to go in the store? I'm trying to get ammunition without having to go in the store, and I could order it online, but apparently ammunition orders cannot be expedited, and it would be delivered in seven days, but I'd rather have it today.

  • Why do sleeping bags with the same temperature rating made by the same company cost vastly different prices?

For instance, Marmot has a synthetic sleeping bag called the Marmot Trestles 15 that is rated to be comfortable down to 15 degrees F, and it costs $120. However, Marmot also has a synthetic bag called the Marmot Ultra Elite 20 that is rated to be comfortable to 20 degrees, yet costs $200. The same seems true for every brand and every kind of bag. North Face has bags that are made with down and rated to 0 degrees, yet some of them are $200 and others are $800. Does anyone know why these bags made by the same company with the same temperature ratings have such vastly different prices?

  • Affordable quality cellphone options? Where to buy? Around three-hundred dollars or less. What are you using?

My Samsung Galaxy S4 finally gave out after four years. It simply went off and won t come back on even after trying a new battery. I attempted to buy a brand new Galaxy S4 on eBay for $110, however when I received it there were immediately a lot of problems. The screen would go black and I would have to unplug the battery to get it to come back on, etc. Even though it was labeled as new. I decided to spend a little more money for something I could trust, however there aren t many affordable options. I went to Best Buy, Walmart, Target, and the TMobile store, and all the phones are either cheap, or 600+ dollars. What happened to the affordable cellphones of decent quality? Where the $250-$500 cellphones? Surely many people can t afford an expensive phone, but want something better than the cheap phones. So what are you using? Where could I get a brand new Galaxy S4, S5, or S6?

  • Why does E min 9 have an F# when there is no F# in the C Major scale?

    You create chords by stacking thirds. Here is the C Maj scale: C D E F G A B

To make a grouping of related chords, you stack every third note together:

    C Maj CEG

    D min D F A

    ect.

    Then you have sevenths:

    CEGB

    DFAC

    ect.

    Then ninths:

    CEGBD

    DFACE

    EGBDF

    FACEG

    GBDFA

    ACEGB

    BDFAC

Notice that there is no F# in the C major scale. One of the ninth chords formed from this scale is E min 9. When I research the voicing for this chord, it says it is created with an F#. I am also running into this problem with the G Maj chord. What am I doing wrong here?

  • Disproving Atheism: Does God Exist?

Atheists and naturalists (who do not accept anything beyond this physical world and universe) say “no.” While volumes have been written and debates have raged throughout history on this question, it is actually not difficult to answer. You must first ask this question: Why do we have something rather than nothing at all? The argument for God can be presented very simply:

    Something exists.

You do not get something from nothing.

Therefore, a necessary and eternal Being exists.

You cannot deny you exist because you have to exist in order to deny your own existence, so the first premise above is true. No one has ever demonstrated that something can come from nothing unless they redefine what ‘nothing’ is, so the second premise rings true. Therefore, the conclusion naturally follows—an eternal Being is responsible for everything that exists.

This is a position no thinking atheist denies; they just claim that the universe is that eternal being. However, the problem with that stance is that all scientific evidence points to the fact that the universe had a beginning (the ‘big bang’). And everything that has a beginning must have a cause; therefore, the universe had a cause and is not eternal. Because the only two sources of eternality are an eternal universe (denied by all current empirical evidence) or an eternal Creator, the only logical conclusion is that God exists. Answering the question of God’s existence in the affirmative rules out atheism as a valid belief system.

  • Can't send or receive photos via bluetooth from Samsung Galaxy S4 to Dell Laptop Windows 8, 64 bit?

I used to use bluetooth to send photos from my laptop to my phone and vice versa, but recently it hasn't been working. I checked the bluetooth settings on my phone and my computer, and both say they are turned on and are paired with eachother. When I try to send a photo from my laptop to my phone, I right click on the photo, select send via bluetooth option, select my phone and left click, and nothing happens. The file doesn't send, there's no error message, simply nothing happens. Any ideas?

  • A word for catching up with an old friend?

Finish this sentence: "Let me start by elaborating on the usual ___ " Imagine that this is a letter to an old friend. When you speak to an old friend, you start by "catching up" and when catching up a usual series of questions are asked-- "Married yet?" "Any kids?" "Job?" What would this series of questions in catching up be called? The usual niceties? Is that right?

  • Is there a term for when someone belittles them self in an effort to make others like them?

I m sure you ve seen it before or done it yourself at some point; you find yourself in a tense situation or you re afraid of being humiliated or something, so you make a joke that belittles yourself in order to take away the tension in the setting you re in, sort of beating people to the punch before they can make you look stupid. Does anyone know what I m talking about? I can t think of an example right now, if someone can share it! Oh, and the question is, is there a term for that?

  • What is the global water crisis?

This will probably come off as a really dumb question to someone knowledgeable on the subject, but I have to ask because I just saw an ad about it, and I remember when I was younger seeing commercials where children were turning off the faucet to ensure that no water would continually drip and their message was, "save some for me please!" I never understood this because I thought that there was an endless amount of water? I mean, you can't use up water right? You drink it and it goes through your body and you constantly replace it, but it doesn't get used up right? There's the same amount of water now as there ever was, because you can't destroy matter, it just changes. Also it's easy to desalinate water, so why is there an ad that is saying 2billion people don't have enough water? Are they basically saying that where they live they are unable to get clean drinking water? Why can they not build wells? Does all the water for 2billion people have things in it that make it undrinkable and there's nothing they can do about it? Honest question, thanks!

  • What is a size 14/32 in jeans?

I bought a pair of Lucky Brand Jeans from a good will and I'm not sure if they are for men or for women they are size 14 / 32 and as much as I've looked I cannot find any information on whether they are for men or for women. I thought that mens jeans were sized with a Waist x inseam measurement format but 14 would be too small for a man's waist, or anyone really so I'm not sure what to think about this.

  • How can hackers take down Xbox Live and PSN?

I don't understand how this hacker group called Lizard Squad has been so successful at taking down the gaming networks, aren't there really smart computer scientists that work for Sony and Microsoft that would be able to resolve any problems a group of kids might present? Is Lizard Squad a team of the best hackers in the world? I don't understand.

  • What is the phrase that refers to someone bailing on an agreement right before the deadline without informing the other party? Shy feet?

For example if three men collaborate to rob a bank and they agree to meet at a specified date and one man doesn't arrive at the proposed time, then one of the two who did arrive gets a called from the man who didn't arrive, talks for a bit, then hangs up the phone and turns to the now third man and says, "(Man 1) is not coming, he got ___ (shaky feet?) at the last minute.

It's something to do with legs or feet.
