Do you think my friend is lying to me about the dreams he is having about his crush?
My friend likes to text me. He tells me he has been having sex dreams about his crush. But the way he goes into detail about them makes me think he is lying. He says things like "I see her car pull up, then the doorbell rings. I answer the door and she is in lingerie and tells me to come upstairs." More or less the dreams are similar. He also says once they are in bed he said "And when she took off my belt, I knew things were about to get hot." Then he goes into details about sex. He claims that he is having these reoccurring dreams to various degrees.
He is still a virgin and hasn't even had his first "real" kiss yet.
I personally think he is just fantasizing. I even told him once "Just be careful or you might become a dad!" LOL.
Can people really remember dreams in that much detail? Do you think he is just trying to impress me?

1 AnswerDream Interpretation1 year agoWas it weird that I tried staying friends with the lower class-men after I graduated?
Looking back I think it was weird that I used to try to stay friends. After I graduated I used to visit the High School football games to try to keep in touch with the lower class-men that I was friends with as a Senior (Sophomores). It definitely wasn't the same since they had appeared to move on. Looking back, should I had just moved on from High School?
3 AnswersFriends2 years agoThe neighbor girl used to hold me "hostage" in the back yard pretending to be the "bad guy." Is this weird?
We were little and the girl used to hold me hostage in the back yard. She would tell me "Put your hands up, I'm the bad guy." Then she would pick from the stump saying "I'm gonna get those bullets." She would also pretend to blow into the "gun" after "shooting." Is this weird?

14 AnswersPolls & Surveys2 years agoShould I quit inviting this "friend" to different things?
There is a coworker who left and we said we would keep in touch. Whenever I try to organize a get together (usually with other coworkers), he says "Yeah I'm down for that!" Then the day that we do go out, he cancels at the last minute due to being "Tired" from work. He then keeps saying "We will get together, I promise!"
Just yesterday we were meeting up at a bar in his neighborhood, so naturally I texted and asked if he wanted to come since we were going to be in his neighborhood. He said he accidentally left his phone in his car so couldn't check it all day but "wishes" he would had known we were meeting up. People were telling me "Likely story..." but I still like to assume the best intentions and give him the benefit of the doubt.
Should I just stop inviting him to different things? It could be a sign he's genuinely not interested, but maybe he's also genuinely tired. What would you do?

It doesn't look abusive, but it looks like how a parent would smack their kid on the butt. Is this okay?
18 AnswersDogs2 years agoWhen do you consider an acquaintance to now be a friend? Is it after hanging out certain amount of times?
When is the moment that an acquaintance becomes a friend in your opinion? Is it after hanging out together for a 2nd time outside of a forced setting?
4 AnswersFriends2 years agoIs my "friend" really my friend? He texts me constantly but we never hang out except in "forced" settings.?
Almost every day he texts me "What's up?" Then we text about random stuff like girls and whatnot.
However the only time we hang out is when other people are having a party or whatever and we are both invited. And we both went on a camping trip with mutual friends but didn't even sleep in the same tent. I haven't even been to his house except to drop him off. But now its been months since I have seen him in person yet we still text all the time. I even invited him bowling once and he said he couldn't go.
Do you think he's a real friend?
1 AnswerFriends2 years agoIs it rude that I told my friend/ex-coworker about my salary increase?
He left the company so he could make more money. Right after he left, the managers gave us all a pay raise so that nobody else would leave. Before he left he was talking about how he would make $4 an hour more at his new job, so it’s not like he made it a secret of how much more he was making at his new job.
Just recently we were talking and he said “I’ll come back if they pay me more” and I made the comment “we were supposed to keep this on the down low but since you don’t work there anymore...after you left Rob gave me a $2.50 raise.” He said “oh wow.” I was kinda hinting maybe they would be willing to negotiate but looking back I kinda felt weird sharing it. But it’s not like he kept it a secret that he left because of money.
2 AnswersOther - Careers & Employment2 years agoWhat does the phrase “I gotta run it by the warden” mean when making plans with someone?
I asked a friend if he wanted to do something and hang out and he said “sure! I just gotta run it by the warden.” Does it basically mean he has to tell his wife? Or is it asking for permission?
3 AnswersWords & Wordplay2 years agoShould I be upset with my friend? Or just let this particular incident go?
I invited my friend to a baseball game last week (which we would had gone to today). My parents are season ticket holders and are out of town for a few weeks. He said his sister and her husband were in town this weekend but he said he was interested depending on what was going on and would let me know. Saturday night I hadn't heard from him so I sent a text saying "So I'm assuming its a no for tomorrow? If you can't, we could always do next Saturday." He wrote "My sister is leaving tomorrow morning, I'll make a game time decision tomorrow. But next Saturday sounds good too!"
I didn't want to seem like that "pushy" friend, so I decided I would just wait for his response. I got nothing. So at the last minute I had to sell the tickets because I got no response (they didn't get sold so my parents lost money). I'm thinking he thought there were other people going too, so didn't realize I would have to sell the tickets?
This obviously caused a major inconvenience. I know part of this is my fault for not being more assertive in texting him, but I thought he would text me when he would know. Do you think he assumed that if he didn't say anything that he just wouldn't go and I still would? Should I say anything or just drop it and invite him to the next one?
1 AnswerFriends2 years agoWhen does a bigger age gap stop being "weird" in a friendship?
For example, a 12 year old being friends with an 18 year old would be weird, but a 20 year being friends with a 26 year old wouldn't be too weird. How old were you when you started to make friends with people outside of your own age (or a few years from your own age).
1 AnswerFriends2 years agoDo you think my classmate dislikes me?
I am in a healthcare program at the technical college. There are about 15 of us in our cohort so we are a pretty small group. We started in September and its a one year program.
Anyway, there is this one lady who is a classmate of mine and I can't tell if she likes me or not. I am leaning towards not. But we had an "open house" for our family members to come watch and see what our program is about and she introduced her husband to a classmate but not me and didn't even acknowledge me. Another time we were at a conference and our class was sitting in the first two rows. I was sitting at the end and she was sitting next to me. She would talk to everybody else with her head turned away from me forgetting I was there. It made me feel unwelcome. Another thing that happened is I added my classmates on facebook, but she never approved my friend request- although she is friends with everybody else with the exception of me and a girl in class that everybody thinks is annoying. I am actually quiet so I am not "annoying" and I am kind to everybody. What am I doing wrong? Do you think she hates me for no reason? Is she maybe insecure and she sees me as an easy target (She is overweight and has said she has struggled with depression). What do you think?

Yes he is not politically correct and has dumb rants on twitter. But as President what has he done that is so horrible? How have any of his policies made your life "miserable?"
Cue the "But...he's mean!" "But Russia!" "But, but Grab her by the P***y!"
15 AnswersPolitics3 years agoDo you think my uncle tries to change his personality on purpose when his brother in law is around?
I have noticed that my uncle acts different when his sister's husband is around (my aunt and my uncle through marriage). Both their names are Joseph and both go by Joe. My aunts husband Joe is very gruff and strict. My uncle Joe (through blood) is normally laid back and happy, but when he is around my aunt's Joe, he acts grumpy and quiet. Its like his personality changes so that my aunt's husband will approve of him. Do you think he is sucking up just because they have the same name? Do people change their personality around other people just so they will approve? Do you think he wants him to think all Joe's are stern and grumpy and not pushovers?
