When does a bigger age gap stop being "weird" in a friendship?
For example, a 12 year old being friends with an 18 year old would be weird, but a 20 year being friends with a 26 year old wouldn't be too weird. How old were you when you started to make friends with people outside of your own age (or a few years from your own age).

Not so much about age but about "maturity".Some people prefer to be around older people who they communicate better with than those their own age.
