Hey

I have an issue with trying to align 2 objects in blender. I'm following a tutorial and it says the 2 objects have to exactly overlap to do some baking, and to select both objects and use "ALT+G" to align

However when I do this, they are ever so slightly out. I have been using "cursor to center" and then "selection to cursor", although one object is slightly out

Any ideas what I could do to resolve this? I think the issue may be because the center point on each object is slightly different for some reason...

Hey all

For around the last week I have had an issue where I cannot use the taskbar - meaning I am unable to open the start menu or operate some of the icons (although strangely, I can open the internet and windows explorer icons, yet the sticky notes, notification icons/date and time, or the start menu won't work)

Also I notice that when adjusting the volume, although the volume does change it doesn't show a visual on the screen anymore

I did complete an upgrade around a week ago so believe that may have contributed to this

Any ideas of a quick-fix?

As the title basically says - I've researched into how to download xbox 360 games from disc onto the hard drive, to help with load times, less reading from the disc, etc. However, it says to go onto the game and click x, which then has an option for install. When I click x, the only option it has is to launch the game. Does anyone know how I can download the game? (which is minecraft by the way - and I didnt download from the market place as I didnt want to provide bank details)

I have noticed the past few days my laptop has been rather slow, as well as keeps dropping from the internet. I have also just noticed that there is a process running (through Task Manager) called "dw20.exe", which after looking into it is some sort of error reporting Microsoft technology. It seems to be using sometimes as much as 50 CPU. Everytime I try to end the process or do anything to it in Task Manager, an error message displays saying "The Operation Could Not Be Completed. Access Denied". Does anybody know how to remove this?

Hi all,

I have has a Chinese elm bonsai now for approx 2 months now. It's started off great, however, lately I've noticed that the leaves keep falling off and some are even turning brown before falling off. I water it regularly with bottled non-tap water ( from above the compost ) yet the surface of the compost seems to also have a kind of white substance over it. The tree itself is sitting in a wooden tray filled with gravel. Any ideas why this could be happening, and what could be sone for it? Thank you in advance!

I bought a new iPod Touch yesterday, 4th generation. However, when I plug it into my laptop with the USB cable that was provided, it is not charging? It has gone into charge mode once or twice, yet since then it hasn't done it. My laptop is on whilst I am trying this.

Wondering if anybody could help me out with what this song is. I cant make out the words, but it is very much a dance song, very current, and has a woman that sings for some part of it in a VERY high pitched voice in the chorus, most likely digitally enhanced. She may be saying something like "I know, dj da la la" and so on... xD

I used to play this lego game from the lego website ages ago (we're probably talking about 5-6 years ago), and I was wondering if anybody could shed some light upon what it probably was.

I distinctly remember that it was based around you working in the film industry, and you had to wander around completing various missions on a film set.

Basically, there is a TV advert that I saw the other day and I cannot remember what it was for.

There were lots of these small models in a town, and it was stop animation with the models. Sorry, I cant remember much more than that, but there was a song with a guy singing in it. The advert is being shown in the UK at the moment.

I only want to know because of the song, as I think it is quite good xD

I have asked this question before, and have not been able to fix the problem.

Basically, when I go onto runescape I log in and all. Then, when I click "play now" (free version), the screen goes onto the loading screen then says that there "was an error with the webpage" and the screen does not load, it is just grey and frozen.

Does anybody have any ideas as to how to get around this problem?

I just logged onto youtube and it asked for me to select my mobile phone number, so that it can then send a message to my mobile should I forget my youtube password.

However, I now wish to remove my number from Youtube, so that it does not send this message to my mobile if I forget my password. Does anybody know how to do this?

Does anyone know what this is? And whether it is important or not? (because I wish to remove it if not)

Ok, Hi everyone,

I have a question about feelings when watching certain things (strangely enough). Its when I watch things like cartoons, it feels like a sort of sense of...connectedness? Like I notice all of the things going on in the background and I feel sort of funny afterwards. Its much stronger at certain times, like if I watch a cartoon late at night time, or perhaps new years eve (I know, strange eh?).

I dont know whether its just a sensitive side of me, or whether it is because I have a passion there or something.

I'm really struggling here to explain this xD

I saw a film long back (loooong back) and I'm just wondering if anyone knows what it is. I remember the start of the film being a scene (or at least one of the first scenes) where a small boy is at a racing day with his mother. A racing car goes past, which is extremely loud, and the small boy becomes deaf.

Thats pretty much all I remember. Another scene I can think of is when the small boy is trying to ask his mother for something to eat in the kitchen, and because he is deaf she cant understand him and he becomes really frustrated.

I'm unsure as to whether I should buy one of them. I mean, Ive read the reviews and they sound much like the previous versions. although they do say that black/white is better. I really like the pokemon games, although I dont much play them anymore (not that I dont like them, there's just so much to do!).

I'm also unsure whether or not to put off buying it because of the next one coming out.

On Neopets, I am unable to feed/give my pets something to drink. I select the option on whatever item it is, click on "feed to xxxxx" and then the pop-up box appears. However, it just stays blank white.

I dont think ive ever had this problem before. It has worked fine in the past. My pet is starving though :-s
