Getting a SUV, only need 4WD in the winter, and with gas prices shooting up, would a selectable drivetrain help with gas mileage??

While I understand the frustration, being pissed at Sony is just stupid. Its not their fault that someone hacked their servers. Of course they took the system down. This is not some small game server like Minecraft that can be put back up in a hours time. Sony's network includes not only the PSN, but the PS store (both game and video store), Qriocity, Home, Life w/Playstation, Hulu Plus, Netflix, whatever that other video service is?, and more importantly their other electronics business (which is the bigger one, Playstation is but a small part of Sony's company!) Its not just the PSN Sony is having problems with. They are having issues in other parts of their company also!

A security risk puts a lot in jeporady, so it is no quick fix. This is not "hey, the game servers are down". Their entire company is being comprimised and they are not going put the PSN back on until they fix it AND put measures in place so that it doesnt happen again.

I feel sorry for you people who are getting so upset at Sony. You clearly have nothing else going in your life. Its video games, it'll be back up in due time. Until then, go do something constructive with your life.

Cant figure out why internet videos have no sound. Sound IS working just fine, Media player, error tones, IM tones, and etc are just fine. but when i watch internet videos, (youtube, etc.) there is no sound?? (yes the volume on the internet videoplayer is all the way up.)

Why is this and how do i fix it??

I deleted a folder titled Music on my USB drive, yet whenever I plug it back in the folder magically reappears? There are no files in it, but the folders keeps showing up no matter how many times I delete it. Whats going on and how can I keep it gone forever?

I recently upgraded the HDD in my PS3 (from 80GB to 320GB) and I have a 80GB SATA HDD thats free now. I bought a HDD enclosure (acomdata tango), but its not mounting to the computer. It makes the ping sound, but the drive doesnt appear. After checking it out (I now know about the Disk Manager) I've found you have to reformat it, but the only option is to format it in NTFS, but I want it to be FAT32 so the PS3 will still read it for backups/transfering pictures and music etc...How do I do this?

So I'm a little pissed that my router gave out and has to be replaced after a year and a half. ATT says the warranty is out and for a new one it will be $100, which is more than what I paid for it the first time. I refuse to pay $100 for the exact same modem, so will the cheaper modems available at best buy or wal mart work with my service?

And any suggestions on a quality router that wont crap out in less than 2 years will be nice too!

Will be getting the myTouch 3G this week, just wondering how to pay for and who you pay for the apps?

Also, since you have to install apps on the phones memory, how many apps can the phone hold?

There is an upload option, but where does the video upload to? The HDD? U2 site? Where?

Normally I dont pay too much attention to my KDR (kill death ratio), I care more about total points, but when I was checking my rankings for the week I noticed that my kill and deaths were about even, and at one point more deaths than kills. Now, I am far from a beast when it comes to FPS's, but I'm definetly not a slouch. Now a normal match (and I only do full warzone, no 200k30m bodycount here) I will average 35 kills and 20 deaths, sometimes even better, a few times maybe worse. Add in the mission points because i actually try to complete objectives (i know right!) and heal people/shot down bots, etc. and never am I below 125 points a match win or lose. There is no possible way, if the stats are correct at the end of the match, that I should be even overall for the week. Not if I am CONSISTANTLY getting 10-15 more kills than deaths every game. I've been keep count myself and I should be +75 kills this week, and not +5 or 6.

Anyway, the question, are solo kills the only kills counted and assisted kills aren't? Because this is the only explaination I could think of, and even then that barely makes sense, cause if it counts as a kill during and at the end of the match, it should count overall for the week. Has anyone else noticed this, or am I trippin over nothing?

Now that they've confirmed Kratos for this game, who thinks they should also add Raiden from MGS4. That would be pretty bad *** wouldn't it?!

This God of War imitation *cough* I mean Dante's Inferno seems to be striking a nerve with a lot people. First the fake religious protest at E3, and this past weekend at SDCC they were inviting people to take pictures of their "lustful sins"?? I understand nothing sells like controversy, but someone over in marketing needs to lose their job. Bad enough they are turning an epic poem into a GoW look-alike, but now it seems they have little taste.

What do you guys think, brilliant marketing, or bone-headed decisions?

How big is the backup data file for the PS3. Is it something I can put on a thumb drive or do I need an external HD to store it while I swap drives?

Is this not the biggest crock of **** you have ever seen in your life!! I've felt for the longest that ever since the SNES, Ninetendo has gone downhill, but this is the most ridiculous, LAZY, UNSKILLED, kiddie casual gamer pandering that I have ever seen. This is a new low! INNOVATIVE!! I don't think so!! What's next, will they send an official Nintendo gamer to come over to your house and you can watch them play your game start to finish for you?! Is this really what gaming is turning into? A bunch of wii sporting, balance boarding, nunchuck wielding *******! Seriously, HOW ******* HARD IS MARIO?!! IT'S MARIO FOR ***** SAKE!!

Seriously, how many games are there out there that SO hard that they are nearly impossible to beat? Devil May Cry? Ninja Gaiden? What else?! NOTHING!, thats what. And even those games can be conquered with skill and practice. I dont know about you guys, but this offends me as a gamer!

Didn't realize this was a national problem. This actually happened to me last week when I went to pick up Killzone 2. I asked for a new copy and the clerk walked over, picked up a empty case that said new on it that was displayed on the rack, and proceeded to put in a disc that was in a sleeve from one of the drawers behind the counter. I reminded him that I said I wanted a NEW copy, and he said it was new, just that it was taken out of the box and put up. I said no thanks and walked out. Granted this was a GameStop I don't usually go to because I don't know anyone that works there, and this never has happened to me personally at the one my friend works at.

Has this happened to anyone else, and what are you guys thoughts on this ridiculous practice? I've never really liked GameStop personally, I just get hookups sometimes because my boy works there.

Just bought a Philips 47" 1080p, and when i watch movie, the wide screen still has the bars on the top and bottom. When I switch the options to expand the picture to fill the screen, it distorts the movie. Not terrible, but the difference is clear when using the zoom. I though these tvs were made to display in the widescreen 16:9 format? Does this on dvds and blu-ray discs?

My gas pedal has become increasingly difficult to press, to the point where I have to mash it down to get moving from a stop. While it's not as bad when it runs for awhile, I look like I'm trying to race at the light when I'm not. What's wrong with it and a ballpark range to get it fixed??
