Yesterday i asked a question about how difficult it is to do business in the Philippines. I got lots alot of good information. So today i would like to ask another,and apologise in advance for any controversy it may cause.

I hear the system is designed to work against the entrepreneur due to corruption. I am wondering if anyone could give me a example of corruption they have faced in their time in the Philippines. LIkewise if you feel the reputation is exaggeration please discuss here.

To make this clear i am not attacking the people or the nation of the Philippines. I am simply trying to gain a understanding of the Issues. Thank you for your time.

It seems to me that whenever i look at a expat forum or see a question about investing in the Philippines here on Yahoo answers,it is overwhelmingly negative. I do not have any experience to doubt this with,as i have no experience in the Philippines (most of my experience of business in Asia has been Hong Kong and Singapore).So i come to you with my question. It seems as if the overwhelming logic is that inevitably as a foreigner, failure is inevitable in Philippines due to corruption and greedy partners.Even the system of government has been brought into question. Is this true? or overstatement? i honestly am intrigued.

I wish to make clear i am not attacking the Philippines,or the people of that fine nation.I have worked with many great Filipinos in my time in Singapore. I am simply intrigued how a single nation can be so harshly criticised. And how many of the most negative voices are Filipinos themselves. I am greatly interested in the answer. I want to create a blog based on political/economic stories based in the Asia/Pacific (specifically editorials by myself and other blog contributors).I will have Google Ads and used certain posts to be converted into kindle books should content be enough.In time to create a podcast and V-cast to support it. What can i do to ensure my blog/website is the most entertaining and enjoyable for my readers? I want to provide the best quality content/experience for my readers,so what do you suggest.

I have a few ideas for a Internet business,but extremely limited capital {i am a student in a expensive course}. I am hoping to create a web based business of a very limited,specific scope.

My question is,is it expensive to create and host a website? i am keeping my question intentionally broad cause i want a broad range of answers. If you want to know what i want to create,its a website inspired by the Huffpo model. But on a very specific topic.

I have been dating a girl from the Philippines for the last 1.5 years.We have had good times and bad,but in the end i love her so much.But i want to make our relationship as fantastic as i can.So i turn to you.Is there any culturally specific issues i should know about dating a girl from the Philippines? what can i do to make her happy more often that not? any cultural issues i should be aware of?

And can you please tell me why is she jealous all the time? Being Australian(Portuguese Descended) i don't really understand the logic,and she doesn't really want to explain it,but it drives me insane lolz
