A now ex friend texted me some really mean texts. I thought I might be being overly sensitive, so I sent a screenshot of our conversation to another ex friend of hers. We both belong to the same club, so this matters. I don't want a confrontation, but I'm inclined to defend myself if anyone gets nasty.

I got the start time confused by 2 hours. It was an extremely informal gathering, the event was to teach puppies it s ok to be held by other people. No food or drinks to be served. The host did not seem harried. Knowing I traveled a long way, she was super gracious, greeting me and having me in for a spell to see puppies as planned.

What can I do to bounce back from this mistake?

Individual is legally homeless, unable to care for their own physical needs, much less an animal.

Individual suffers frequent delusions.

Dog has untreated injuries and food allergies.

For quite a few years I've wanted to learn how to sew, but I didn't have a machine or the know how to buy one. Recently, I was fortunate enough to be given a 1950 Singer Featherweight 221. Everywhere I look on line I read how it's a great machine that will last for years and years ...and it's particularly favored by quilters. Groovy.

Since I don't currently have any aspirations of making quilts or even clothes for that matter, the above assertions aren't making much sense to me. All I'd like to be able to make is the occasional simple curtain, bed covers for my pooches, and occasionally a lame costume for the same pups. Ok, maybe I stretched the truth a bit; I may want to make dog clothes and blankies. Just trying to keep my goals reasonable here...

Can anyone tell me more about this machine, does it fall into those parameters? Or would I be better off selling the machine and buying a newer one?

Thoughts, advise or random chocolate chip cookie recipes accepted.

We have a 10+/- year old Rott/Lab mix that's a bit out of shape. She's not a butterball, but she's not very toned anymore either. Vet says her weight is ok at 115lbs. Just needs to tone up!

Since my boss got a new boss, a lot of thing have changed pretty drastically.

In the past few months we have changed our work format. Not once, but twice! Neither were by choice. My boss was 'told' to make changes that had long been ignored.

My boss' work is being audited by an "independent team." There have been whispers that the boss was overlooking shoddy work for her friends.

There have been a couple sizeable mistakes made. Employees were blamed. Clients are upset. Salesmen are irate.

I'm new to card making. I keep seeing digital downloads for paper, stamps, lists, stickers and ribbon. Would someone explain how those are used. Should they be cut out, and then attached??
