  • This is not my cat, I am trying to help a friend......?

My friend rescued a cat from the humane society. She took her to the vet to get her shots and to get her fixed. She got all of her shots and my friend was told that he cat was pregnant. She decided to go ahead and fix her and to abort the kittens. She took the cat home, then when it was time took her back to get her stitches out. About 5 days after the stitches came out, the holes (where the stitches were) started oozing puss. She put some neosporin on it and called the vet. The vet told her to use peroxide and watch it. After 3 days, it looked like it was getting worse, so she took the cat in and got oral antibiotics for it. Now it is almost 12 days after stitches came out and 2 or 3 days of antibiotics and the cat started bleeding from the stitch holes. She rushed her back to the vet and the vet kept her. When my friend called and asked about picking her up, the vet said that they had to open her back up, but they did not tell my friend why. Has anyone ever had a similar problem?

  • Anthrax vaccination and birth defects?

I have posted this question before with very few answers. I am trying to find out how many vaccinated (MEN) have children with birth defects under the age of 5. Too many birth defects are showing up on base. I don't know why, but am wondering if the two may be related. Most of the ones I know are under the age of 3.

  • Anthrax Vaccination and Birth Defects?

I am trying to find out how many men, who got the anthrax vaccination, now have a newborn or young child with a birth defect. My niece had a son who had a club foot, she has a friend (on base) who is pregnant with a child with spinal bifida. She said that she can name about 15 women whose husbands are over seas, who are either pregnant or have already had a child with a birth defect of some kind. She is wondering if it has anything to do with the anthrax vaccine. If you have any knowledge or anything to add, it will be much appreciated by the entire military personell, thinking of having a family.

  • How do you add a link to an answer on this page?

I have noticed that many people answer a question and then add a link to click on for more information. I would like to be able to do this, so I can be of help also. Please, I am not all that good with computers. Please use plain English. Thank you so much for your help.
