  • Why would a movie be playing in one country and not another?

Aftershock just hit American theatres, but it's not playing in Canada as far as I can tell. IT's available in the american itunes store, and not the Canadian one.

This is especially bizarre because it played at TIFF in Toronto last year.

Why are movies released in some countries and not others?

  • Is it legal to take trash home with you on the plane?

I've been trying to find the answer online, and it seems that not many people have asked this. Barring things like food waste, is it legal to take a bag of trash home with you in your suitcase? I'm doing a project for school on Easter Island, and ways to make travel a bit more eco-friendly. LAN would be the airline, if that helps.

  • Does the Greyhound station in Victoria, British Columbia have lockers?

I'm going to Victoria next weekend to see a band play and my room mate and I are going to camp out in a park to have some cash. I don't want to carry around my sleeping bag and stuff all day so I was wondering if there were lockers at the greyhound station (which is nearby) or anywhere in Downtown Victoria.

(For those who are curious I'm going to see he Matadors at LUCKY BAR on yates st, you should go too ;))

  • If I apply to a place I used to work will they know?

I worked at an HMV in Edmonton about 3 years ago and am now living in BC (vancouver area) and thought about applying.

Problem is I didn't quit in such a great way. I stopped showing up and actually left the province.

    Didn't call or anything.

Now I'm thinking of applying to one out here, but I'm wondering if they would know I had worked there before? It's not on my resume and no one I worked with before actually still works there.

Do I put it on the resume and just come clean, pretend it didn't happen or do I steer clear of all HMVs for life? haha
