I have had sugaring (like waxing) done twice down below (all hair removed).

I thought it was supposed to last for at least 3 weeks, but it only lasts about 10 days for me before the hair begins to grow back... and I get lots of little red bumps (like with shaving) for a couple days when the hair is first growing back (which is uncomfortable and doesnt look good).

What are other peoples experiences like with waxing or sugaring? Does it gradually last longer the more you have it done (will it eventually be more than 10 days)? Is it normal to get the little bumps when hair is first growing back?

I love the results when I have it done, but 10 days is a really short amount of time!

I really want to be smooth down below for the end of the month. Shaving and hair removal creams always give me red bumps the following day, which doesn't look good. So considering getting waxed professionally at a salon, ideally with all the hair removed. But I have never had it done before and need good results the first time due to time. I don't want to get those little red bumps that you get with shaving though, or any other unsightliness. What are the chances of getting good results first time? How long until I get the red bumps or until hair grows back?

When would be the best time to have the wax done? How many days before I go on my trip?

I just bought an item from ebay, trying to pay with paypal/card. Say the item cost 40 pounds. The seller did not have international postage rate listed, but told me it costs 10 pounds. I bought the item and the seller sent me a corrected invoice including the international postage (so for 50 total).

However when I click on pay now, the postage costs then do not show up on that page. I wrote 10 myself in the empty postage cost box and it updated it. But when I went to the next, final screen to 'confirm payment', it only has the original 40 again and doesn't include the 10 postage still. So I did not click pay as the postage is missing still!

Anyone know what I can do? Seller had sent me the correct invoice, so it should have worked! I have no idea what to do, never had this issue before.

(could seller edit listing even though it has ended and add international postage to it? then I could pay probably without problem as the postage should already be there. Or can that not be added once it ended?)

The artist is so talented and truly fantastic... and I wondered if a big group caricature may be a nice idea as a thank you/farewell gift for the staff at my college. My department is very friendly. It would just be their heads and shoulders in colour as a group on A3.

The artist draws really nice, happy caricatures, not insulting or cruel ones and they are a great likeness to the people (had one done of me already). I think it would be a nice, unique idea, but do you think the staff would like something like that? Or would they not be impressed?

I am getting a family caricature done as a gift for a family member, but I'm not sure what theme would work nicely. It would need to be something not too complicated for the artist. She is drawing full bodies in, and can also add some background/props/accessories.

Any ideas?

I have a gorgeous dress, but although it fits me all over nicely it doesn't do right up at the back because I have big boobs for my size. The next dress size up was way too big everywhere else.

I have 2 of this dress (1 is stained)... Could a tailor make the dress fit me? I have extra material as I have some left over from the stained one.

Is it possible to make the dress fit?

I normally only have it for Spring (not summer thank god) and it normally lasts 1 month ish.

Some years it's mild, or only bad for a week, other years it's unmanageable.

I have long hair, comes just below my chest. It suits me how it is and I normally have it cut about now... but everytime they cut it, I don't like the length as much as I do right now (even if its only a tiny bit they cut off!)

I know hair is meant to be cut every 6 months or so, and mine hasn't been and I don't want to cut it.

So are there any miracle products out there to keep the ends of my hair looking fresh and bouncy/nice and not split, without making my hair hard (like some sprays/gels)

I have 2 identical dresses, one is stained on the skirt part, so I want to use the top/bust part and turn that into part of a brand new shorter dress or even a top. I need ideas for colours/materials/styles for the rest of this top or shorter dress.

What sort of event could I wear it to and what sort of shoes? What do you think of the dress?

I have an hourglass figure. I have big boobs and do have hips (but I'm not fat) and I have a small waist.

I have a long silky dress that I love but the skirt part is stained and ruined.

The bust part is absolutely gorgeous, beautifully designed and I don't want to waste it.

Would a tailor or some dressmaker-type place be able to use the top part of the old dress and use it as part of a new top or shorter dress?

It has a zip down the back, so I wasn't sure.

I love dresses.

But I always end up choosing to wear ones that are shorter.. not really short but above the knee a bit, as opposed to ones that come below the knee.

Where would you wear a long evening dress that comes below the knee?

I have a dress by warehouse in a size 10. It fits me nicely all over but wont zip right up because I have big boobs for my size.

A 12 would probably zip up... but would it then be too loose/big on me everywhere else?

I ordered a size 10 dress because I normally buy a 10 in UK clothing. But I can't do it all the way up at the top... there's a 4 inch long and kinda wide gap where it won't do up! I am quite busty for my size.

The dress fits me nicely all over, except that it won't do up.

I was wondering if I should order a 12 next time, or if this would then be too big for the rest of me? I like things fitted, not loose...

I'm also not really tall so 12 might be longer as well :-/
