I thought there had been a change in the rules of succession to the British throne so there would no longer be preference for a male over a female. In yesterday morning's newspaper it listed the line of succession to the British throne down through Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and their children, but never even mentioned Princess Anne or her children. Does she now rank above her younger brothers or is she still ranked below them?

I have a Tappan microwave oven that is almost 20 years old. It was working fine until two days ago when the turntable would start rotating every time the door was open. Today it suddenly completely stopped working and everything on the microwave shut down including the clock, the timer and the light. What caused this to happen? Is a microwave oven this old worth repairing or should I just buy a new one?

Why do so many boys and men wear the same earrings for weeks or months at a time and not change them? My daughter has gotten interested in a boy who wears earrings in both ears but has worn the same earrings since school started last September and who knows how long before that. My son has both his ears pierced and as soon as his ears had healed I taught him how to coordinate his earrings with his clothes and that he should change his earrings every day like my daughter and I do.

What portion of young women, say under 30, have a tattoo today? I'm looking for a fraction or a percent, like 1/3, 1/4, 50%. How many tattoos do most of them have?

I remember when Prince Charles and Lady Diana got married they went from Westminster Abbey to the civil registrar's office to make their marriage official, but I did not see Prince William and Princess Katherine do that. Did they do this? Do all marriages in the UK still have to have the second brief ceremony before the local registrar or have they changed the law since Charles and Diana were married?

For the last two days I have been having a problem getting into Yahoo questions. The Yahoo answers icon does appear on my screen when I sign on. The only way I can get in to Yahoo questions is through a message I received and saved when one of my answers was chosen as the best answer. Is the problem with my computer or with Yahoo? What can I do about this?

For the past week or so I have not been able to access youtube videos. I can sign on to Youtube.com but from there no matter what I try to do I get nothing. Is Youtube having a problem? Could it be a problem with my computer? I am able to go to all the other sites I visit regularly without any problems, so I am thinking the problem is with Youtube. Have they changed anything recently?

A relative is going to remodel my kitchen, which it very much needs. He does this type of work, but right now he is unemployed. I am going to pay for all the material at his cost, but I have no idea how much I should pay him for his labor. He hasn't asked for any money, but I know he and his wife could use some cash to pay bills right now and I want to be fair with him. He estimates the job will take three days for everything. I know wages vary from place to place so I will tell you we are near Boston, Massachusetts which is generally a higher cost of living area.
