I'm not in any trouble, nor do I plan to be...but I'm just curious. Let's say I am pulled over and an officer asks to search my car. If I say, "No officer, I don't consent to searches" or something of the like, is the fact that I am not consenting to the search probable cause for him to then mandate it anyway because it seems suspicious?

I'm 16 and I live with my mom, who drives a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I recently got my drivers license, and obviously in order for me to drive the Jeep, I need a key. However, the 2nd key that came with the car is in the possession of my dad, who lives in another state. It is an electronic key so it can't exactly be duplicated at Home Depot. To get a 3rd key, would we just go the Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep dealership?

PS. There is no legality issues with my mom/me driving the car and my dad, he just lives in another state and it's not worth a 5 hour drive to get the key (which he would give me, considering he doesn't drive the car.) My mom has the registration/insurance and all, and my dad is aware that my mother and I drive the car. So no point in mentioning anything about that. Please just tell me how to get a 3rd key.

I'm interested in purchasing a 2010 Ford Mustang. I have heard that cars are "cheapest" in August, when the new models come out. I don't receive my driver's license until February of 2012. However, I (my parents, using my money) could purchase the car earlier if that would be better, financially. Is it cheaper to purchase the car in August because of the "new models coming in" sales, or just waiting until February when the car is older anyway?

I have a lot of video game related things I have nothing to do with, and want to make some money. I have:

An original PSP w/ 16 games (charger, memory card, case included)

A Nintendo Gamecube w/ 20-something games (all adapters included)

A Gamecube to GameboyAdvance Adapter

5 PS3 Games (case and manual included)

Would it be better to sell these on eBay, or just run down to my local GameStop and trade them in?

I'm considering doing a cross-country drive for my senior project. I'm really into photography, so the idea would be to take photos of the entire (more or less) country.

Could I stay in some dank hotels/motels along the way? My parents are totally okay with this, but I certainly don't want to go sleeping in my car for that whole time. That would be gross. My parents could provide me with a credit/debit card, but I'm still under 18. What can I do?

This is totally out of curiosity. When you ship using the United States Postal Service airmail (across the ocean, or something along those lines), how do they get it there? I have been to airports all over the US including Hawaii and I have never once seen a USPS plane. Do they contract other airlines to do it for them? I know they are competitors with UPS and FedEx (who I know have planes), so they wouldn't contract them, would they?

Earlier today I went on AirFrance's website and was looking at flights from DC - Paris very far ahead and they were only around $500. I was just browsing, so I didn't save anything. Later today, I looked again. The prices went up to over $2000! Why is this? Will they go back down again?

Hi there. On Saturday I'm going to have a guest who's pretty allergic to cats, and I have two of them. He'll be spending the night as well. He's going to take a Claratin, and I told him I can put the cats in a different area of the house. Other than that, what can I do to remove anything cat-like from the house that could upset his system?

I'm interested in attending some of the events at the 2012 Olympics, as well as just seeing London. At the time of the Olympics I'll be 16 and turn 17 during that time period. I'm interested in traveling alone (with parental permission, of course) and staying at a hostel while there. Does anyone know hostels that:

a) welcome 16 year olds

b) do not have a curfew, or at least a very strict one

c) are for the social crowd! I definitely want to make friends while there!

My mom and I just recently booked a sort of last-minute vacation for 4 days in Cancun. We booked flights all on AirTran, as well as a airport-to-hotel transfer, and 3 nights at a hotel/resort. It all seemed legit, and I made sure the hotel was good from TravelAdvisor.com, and checked on AirTran's website that our flights exist and we have booked seats. Recently I've heard a lot of complaints about Bookit.com. Has anyone booked a successful trip with them? Is there anything else I can do to make sure that our vacation goes as planned?

Connecting flights, customs help?

Hi there. This summer I will be traveling to Santander, Spain from Washington, DC. My flights are as follows:

Washington DC to London on British Airways

London to Madrid on British Airways

Madrid to Santander on Iberia

I'm wondering, when I enter the UK and Spain, do I need to go through customs, and do I need to do anything with my bags? Or can I just sit in the airport and get on my next flight without doing anything special? And also, when I start my journey in the USA can I tell them my final destination and let them take care of it, or do I need to claim and recheck my bags in London and Madrid before I actually get to my final destination?

Currently, I have a phone in a family plan with AT&T. I am NOT the account holder of this family plan, however, I would like to switch services to another provider. My number is not the primary number on the account, it is a secondary one. I read here (http://www.fcc.gov/cib/consumerfacts/numbport.html... that a cell phone company cannot refuse to switch your number to another carrier. Does this still apply since I am on a family plan? The person who pays for my cell phone right now and I are not in a good situation, and I would like to break off from that.

This might sound silly, but I've never been clubbing before. What do I do with my bag (and coat for that matter) once I enter the club? Do you just have to take it around with you or is their some sort of coat check that takes bags as well? I wouldn't want to be dancing and having to carry my bag around the whole time.

I'm looking to have a big party at my home. I know there are lots of ways to do this, but does anyone have any specific suggestions on how I can set something (probably a computer) to play the same music downstairs, upstairs, outside, etc all at the same time without having to constantly manage the songs while trying to entertain my guests?

Just out of curiosity, what are they like? I have seen pictures of lots of hot, young, tan gay men walking around in speedos at the pool having the time of their lives online, but is it really like that? Is everyone young, hot, tan, has a six pack, and in a speedo? And what is the atmosphere like? Are people friendly and meeting new people or is it all couples who want to mind their own business?

Are they going to change the show title, or what? I just don't understand how the show will keep the name if its filmed in a different location.

I know TKTS has 2 locations in Manhattan, the South Street Seaport one and the Times Square one. If I want tickets to a Saturday night show, which one should I go to, and when? I know the Seaport one opens much earlier, so should I go there? And should I arrive early or does it not matter? How bad are the lines?
