  • i allowed a friend to drive my car while she was over on holiday to the UK ( she is a Spanish citizen)?

    she was caught speeding , and now i have had umpteen letters from the road safety team requesting info re her address etc . i have provided all the relevant info as required, she has not responded to there letters , they are now requesting my insurance details in respect of her cover to drive my vehicle, and although i am covered to drive the car , she is not , although she has her own cover in Spain i don't know what to do next

  • I am travelling to the gran canaries in 2 weeks time with ryanair?

    unfortunately I sustained a partial tear of my Achilles tendon playing sport 3 weeks ago and have my foot in a removable plastic boot, and although I can put my weight on my leg, I do need crutches to help me walk. I have been onto the ryanair web site regarding my partially limited mobility, but it only seems to talk about plaster of Paris, and leg breaks what I don't want to happen is I get to the airport and they say no you cant fly, has anyone had a similar experience or have any advise

  • just been diagnosed with an Achilles tendon rupture to my rt leg following a sporting injury?

    my trauma consultant has put me in a plastic boot,with a built up heel which will be reduced over the next few weeks to make my foot flat he has also said no sport for the next 3 months,help i cannot go 3 months with no exercise has anyone any suggestions??my foot is going to be in the boot for 6-8 weeks

  • total abdominal hysterectomy?

    i had a total abdominal hysterectomy on june 22nd i was told by my consultant i would be off work for 3/12. on my discharge from hospital i was given a sick note for 6/52, my out patien appointment post op was for 10 weeks a difference of 4 weeks between my original sick note ending and my appointment.at 6 weeks i approached my gp for another sick note he refused stating it was up to the hospital to issue i contacted the hospital who said it was up to my gp as a result of all this phoning around i still have no sick note to give to work i dont know what to do next any ideas????

  • i bought a property to rent last may my only tennant has been a friend of mine and her young son?

    when she initally moved in i asked her to fill in all the forms re council tax she assured me she had i had to call round to the house a few weeks ago there was post in my name when i opened it i was shocked to find i had been summoned to court in the prev dec ( i knew nothing of this) for non payment of council tax to the sum of £1,000 plus costs i immediatly rang the council to explain that i rented the property and gave my tennents name they assured me the bill would be sent to her however i now have a ccj against my name that was not my debt how do i go about getting it taken off this will of course effect my credit rating

  • ive just started to get pins and needles in my hands and feet?

    its been going on for a few weeks now gradually getting worse ive always had a problem with numbness in my hands 1st thing in a morning but i think thats positional during sleep but now its happening in the day ive looked up articles etc but its quite scary when they talk of multiple screlosis and motor nurone problems i dont feel ill anyone got any ideas
