At the moment, I have a 16 gallon planted fish tank (This is the exact fish tank that I have):

The only inhabitants for the time being are 5 gold longfin danios, which I've been adding over time to the tank so I don't increase the bio-load too dramatically.

This is what I plan on having in the tank:

5 Gold Longfin Danios

2 Black Mollies

1 Dwarf Gourami

I know that my tank could definitely support the danios and the gourami, but I'm unsure about the mollies. If the mollies are too big, then what other fish can I add? I don't have enough room in my tank to build another school of fish like how the danios have, so what kind of fish can I add that don't require a school, and don't get too big?

To explain this better, I'll just use two random names. (Let's go with John and Tom)

So Let's say that John follows Tom on Tumblr, and Tom follows John back.

They mutually follow each other.

Let's say that one day, John accidentally blocks/ignores Tom. Does blocking Tom automatically make John unfollow Tom? Does blocking someone you follow force you to unfollow them as a result?

Recently I have been taking care of a fish tank at school that belongs to my environmental science teacher. I feed them every morning (because it's my homeroom), and change the water whenever he asks me to.

He said that he is willing to accept donations to his aquarium, and I'd be happy to make a donation. I take care of these fish so often that they practically feel like my own.

I'd like to get two Gouramis, either a male/female or female/female pairing. But I'm not EXACTLY sure if they will work in the aquarium he has set up.

I wish I knew more about the tank besides the fish that live inside, but this is all I know:

The tank is most likely around 70-75 gallons. (I really can't be sure, I might be completely wrong. All I know is that its big enough to have plenty of room for all of the fish he currently has)

It has a light fixture at the top.

It has a makeshift cover that covers almost the entire top of the tank. (I'm aware that Gouramis need to breathe from the surface. Does it matter if the tank is covered or not? There's normally an inch or two of water missing from the top, is that enough space for air?)

There's a carbon filter and a big air bubbler to filter the tank.

As for the decorations:

Two medium sized fake plants, each about 8 or so inches tall.

Another smaller artificial plant, only about two inches tall.

There's one type of floating plant that rests on the top of the tank, but i can't think of the species. (I hear that gouramis need plants. is that enough?)

A small artificial rock tunnel

A rock arch that is made of thin stone slabs

And now, for the actual fish that live in the tank. Some of this may be guesswork, since I can't remember the exact species names:

A Plecostomus, specifically a Pterygoplichthys pardalis

An Angelfish, (most likely a Silver Angelfish)

Mollies & Platies (two of them)

Swordtail Platy

Colombian shark catfish

Giant Danio (I hear they can be aggressive, but I haven't seen it act aggressively at all.)

Red Eye tetras (three of them)

Six tetras of unknown species. (Looks like the Black Skirt Tetra, but with longer fins.)

and an unknown species of catfish. However, it's like he's not even part of the tank. He almost never comes out of the artificial rock tunnel. I've only seen him two or three times, and that was during feeding.

OKAY. That's all out of the way. Sorry, I just wanted to be thorough.

My main concerns come down to this:

Is there enough air space for the Gourami to breathe?

Will the Gourami be bullied by anything, or will it bully anything already in the tank? I'm mainly looking at the Angelfish. The Angelfish is very peaceful and slow moving, and its long fins might be tempting to nip at. I'm not concerned about the Danio, even though it is supposed to be semi-aggressive, because it keeps to itself.

Is there enough plants and hiding space? it has enough swimming space, no doubt. But i hear they like well-planted tanks. Will the plants already in the tank cut it, or will we need more?

Okay, so I'm writing a story right now. I've written poetry and very short stories, but this is the first thing I've done with chapters, so you could basically say I'm kind of a beginner.

I'm not going to go into detail about the work, but basically I write short chapters and post them online every week and a half or so. I've written about six chapters so far, but sooner or later I'm going to encounter a problem: I want to change narrators temporarily for certain parts.

For example, my story is told in first person through the main character. But let's just say that something happens to the main character. (let's just say he gets captured or is presumably killed or something like that.) For dramatic effect, I want to narrate the story without the main character, to make the reader curious as to the fate of the main character and give the reader to get inside the minds of the other characters for a brief moment. Or maybe I want to show the dialogue between two unintroduced characters without the main character being there to narrate it. How would I go about switching from a first person to third-person omniscient narrator in these situations, without confusing the reader?

Thanks for the help in advance! I don't know if pulling off these switches in narration are a bit too ambitious for someone new to story writing like me, but I'll never learn unless I try, right?

Okay. She was originally my friend but now we've been dating for a month and a half. I really want to kiss her, but I'm just nervous... I haven't had my first kiss yet. I'm 16 by the way. I don't think she knows that I haven't had my first kiss yet, either. But I know that she's kissed before. So it makes me nervous. What if I'm not a good enough kisser?

Also, I lack the balls to just "make my move and kiss her". I don't know why, I'm just feeling very nervous about it. I feel like I need permission or something to kiss her, even though I know she'd be okay with it if I just kissed her.

So here's what I'm thinking about doing. She just left my house. I mean literally, she JUST left, and I was going to give her a "goodnight" kiss, but I'm too much of a pussy so I backed out. But I'm thinking about texting her and saying "Hey, I had a really good time tonight". or something like that. (we always say something like that after we see each other.) and she'll say "Yeah me too." or something.

Then I'll say "But I have one regret about tonight..." and then she'll ask something like"what is it?" and I'll say "Because I wish I had given you a kiss goodnight." And then if she asks why I didn't, I'll tell her that I'm nervous to kiss her because I haven't kissed anybody yet. I won't bring that up though, unless she asks me why I didn't.

Do you think that will work? Or does that sound weird? Would a girl want to hear that? Is it weird to tell her that I wanted to kiss her? What should I say?! Please help me, I'm a crazy love-sick mess.

Alright. So me and this girl have been friends. But at the end of the year, her best friend told me that she likes me... So i asked her out. Our first date was last Friday (my first date EVER I might add.) At the end of the day I texted her and said we should get together again sometime, and she said she'd like to see me again soon.

Our date was seeing a movie and then walking around an outdoor mall that is right next to the theater after the movie was over. A lot of the stores were closed, so we just walked and talked. (I paid for everything, by the way)

Well being that I'm the man, I am responsible for setting up the next date. The movie date was a no-brainer, but I don't know what to take her to now. The beach is too far. She works at a restaurant, so I don't really think I should take her to one. Besides, that's so "adult". Im sixteen for crying out loud, I want us to do something exciting! I would just invite her to my house, but she may not feel ready to do that yet. There's another mall that's close which is different from the one we walked around at, but taking her to another mall may be dull. And if all that wasn't enough, I don't have a job yet. And being a teen, I don't have money to burn.

Look folks, im asking for a cheap or free date (25 dollar price range at the MAX) that I can set up with this girl. I really like her, and it doesn't really matter what we do, just as long as it means I get to spend time with her again. I just want it to be something we can enjoy. Anybody have some ideas? At this point I'm thinking an at-home date is best, but as you can clearly tell, im new to dating! I've only been on one and it was two days ago! Help me, I'm at a loss. What do couples do at one another's houses? What could we do? Or what can we do in general as a fun, free, cheap date?

I asked a girl out last Friday. One of her best friends had told me that she likes me... so she likes me, and I like her. We've been friends for a year now. And im afraid when I arrive, I wont know how to act in front of her. After all, this is my FIRST DATE. I'm afraid of messing up. So how can I make conversation? Many people tell me that I should just ask questions... but people don't normally do that. So how can I make asking questions to get to know her organically fit into a conversation? I'm probably just over-stressing it... but I'd really appreciate some tips as far as making conversation seem organic, and.not.just me asking questions out of the blue. I really want to avoid awkward silence. Thanks in advance!

I know it sounds a bit ridiculous, but I want a legitimate answer.

Why do we dress formally at weddings, funerals, interviews, church services, and other occasions? It doesn't really make sense to me. I know the most common answer is 'it's representative of status or wealth." but I honestly don't think that's how most people think.

From what I've observed, dressing "correctly" is stressful to many people. "What to wear, WHAT TO WEAR?" But I never ask myself that question. And sometimes dress shoes can be uncomfortable, dress jackets can be uncomfortable in hot or humid weather, and really dressy clothes can be expensive. It's so much of a burden and hassle, why don't we all just agree to not put up with it?

Face it: most people would rather not waste all of their time getting all dressed up for an occasion. Why can't we all just say "I don't want to dress up. You don't want to dress up. Let's just not dress up."

Why should I dress up for a wedding if i'm only attending the wedding, and I'm not a part of the wedding? Why should I dress up for a job interview? Most people would say it "looks professional", but why should the way I dress tell someone if I'm professional or not, and not my actual work ethic?

I'm not a religious person, so maybe i don't understand the church part, but it seems weird to me that you would have to dress really fancy for church. Why do you have to dress up all nice and pretty for God, if God is supposed to love everybody? I personally think God could care less how we dressed. Then again, I have no right to talk since I don't believe in a God.

I kind of understand dressing up for a Funeral, because dressing up nicely could be a form of showing respect. But just as long as you feel grief, why do you have to dress formally for a funeral? if you're truly grieving, you should at least be able to enjoy the comfort of casual clothes.

Maybe this is just pointless rebellious ramblings of a sixteen year old, but I'm very intrigued about this aspect of our society. Why do we do it? Like I said before: I understand that dressing up can symbolize better social and economic status. But if EVERYBODY dresses up, than what purpose does that serve? Wouldn't everybody be showing the same amount of social and economic status?

It's not like this is a big deal, and I'm not trying to complain, but it doesn't make much sense to me. Thanks for the answers in advance.

This has been bugging me for a week now.

I am in the 10th grade and my friend is also in the 10th grade. I've known her since the 6th grade. Very recently she hadn't been in school for about a month. I had heard she was moving, so I assumed she was in the middle of moving and would be back soon. I had heard from around school that she was in the hospital, and everyone just assumed she was sick.

Turns out, I was right about her moving, but that wasn't why she missed school. Last week I saw her outside with a moving truck, and she was moving things with her mom. She seemed well enough to me, so I started talking to her. (it was after school).

Long story short, I found out that she hadn't exactly been in a hospital, but she had been in a psychiatric hospital. She told me she had tried to kill herself. I was absolutely blown away. She had been a person that I had known to be depressed. Her mom is apparently abusive, and she barely sees her dad. (her parent's aren't together.) There are some days were she's very depressed and seems almost impossible to cheer up, and other days she's the happiest person I see all day

I never expected her to be the suicidal type. Depressed, sure, but i never expected her to be the kind of person to try kill herself! Not ever. When i was talking to her, she seemed happy, and like it was all a thing of the past.

The most heart-wrenching thing she told me was "She'd just try to swallow whatever medicines she could and hope to never wake up again and then get more frustrated when she did."

It horribly upset me because I couldn't imagine hearing the news that she had killed herself out of nowhere like that, I just couldn't have imagined it happening. The worst thing she told me though, was that she told me it wasn't her first attempt. She said she's tried to kill herself at least seven times, and the first attempt was in the eight grade.

It angers me. I just don't understand. She even said her friends knew about it, which bothers me because they didn't speak up. And that it's likely her mom and sister knew, but didn't do anything about it. (Because her mom probably doesn't care enough, and her sister is very mean spirited, to the point where she tried to hit me with a car) But I don't want to draw conclusions. It also bothers me that this was going on under my nose for years, and i never knew. I feel like if I knew, I would've helped, or talked her out of it. I don't know how bad i would feel if I woke up to hear she was dead, and had no idea she was suicidal. I probably would feel guilty.

I still have so many questions. I don't know if i should ask her more about it, because she seems to be getting over it, and I don't want to bring back suppressed memories. and her first full day back to school was today (a week since she gave me the news). I want to understand specifically why she felt that way. Was it her mom? Was it the death of her dog (who she loved probably more than any human being)? Was it her constant heartbreak from failed relationships? Did she have bullies? More than one of those? All of those?

All I know is, it's left me very confused and a bit depressed. I just want to know if she's okay, so I feel safe knowing that she can put all of that behind her. At the end of our conversation, I told her I was shocked, and that most people in school had no idea what was going on with her, and that if she ever needs me she has my phone number,and I'd see her in school when she was ready to come back.

I hope I did the right thing.

I'm writing a story in which a male character respects the protagonist character very deeply. I wanted the other male character to always refer to the protagonist as "sir", but it seems to proper, and formalities like 'sir" don't really fit their relationship well. I was thinking of having him call the protagonist "boss" instead, but it sounds too much like he should be in the mafia :P . So I need a title for a character that could replace sir, but isn't as polite or proper, kind of like a nickname.

Do you think that the United States and North Korea will be belligerents in an a war in the near future? How do you think it will be instigated? What countries do you think will also be involved or will fight? How long do you think it will last, and who do you think will win? What do you think will be the result.

If you don't think it's inevitable, what events will happen that will prevent it? Or do you think that every threat is just an idle one? Do you think diplomacy will prevent it, or a new leader will change things?

I love all sorts of theories, so please just try to be logical, reasonable, and rational. I know that's a lot to ask of the Internet T_T Also, try not to be fanatical about any particular side and don't bring any views that are too opinionated into your idea. (By that, I mean don't be racist and don't bring your political party into this.)

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity VS. Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon VS. Fire Emblem Awakening

I want Gates to Infinity because I'm a long-time fan of Pokemon, and I've played all of the other mystery dungeon games already, so I'm kind of a fan of the series. I want Luigi's Mansion because I always wanted to play the original, but i never had a gamecube. As for Fire Emblem, I wanted to play it because i heard it was a challenging strategy game, and i like both challenge and strategy elements in games (which is why i like Pokemon) Otherwisae, I have no experience with Fire Emblem whatsoever.

I just recently got the 3DSXL for my birthday, and have enough money to buy about any 3DS game. If somebody could tell me which of these is the best choice and why, It'd greatly appreciate it.

If knowing more about what types of games I like would help you answer, I'll tell you. I prefer longer games over shorter ones, I like games that are challenging, but will not bring me to a point were I'm stuck and left with nothing else to do. I enjoy games that either have a great story and plot, or no plot at all. If the game has a plot that's half-assed, I'm not going to have fun. But if a game has no plot at all. By that, I mean games like Minecraft, with the sole intent of just having fun. I enjoy collectibles in games, but only if they feel worthwhile collecting. I'd also like games I wouldn't mind playing over and over again, but replay value isn't too big of an issue, I'm fine with just playing a game once. However, one of the most important things for me in games is how much are you are able to do post game. I like a game that isn't over once the story ends. I can be very picky with games :)

Can someone explain the red stains that constantly show up on football jerseys in NFL games? I see it all the time! I only see it occur on white jerseys or white parts of the jersey. Here is a specific example, the only one I could find, that shows it on Ray Rice's numbers on his jersey, more specifically the "2" on his jersey:

Is there a hero or villain that can create weapons out of darkness, particularly blade weapons? The power is basically the ability to solidify darkness and form it into these kinds of blade weapons. Does anybody know someone with a power like that from comics or something? links would be helpful.

I am creating a character. This character has two alter egos, one that does good deeds and good things, and one that is wicked and evil and does bad things. I need names for this character's alter egos. both Alter Egos are male, by the way.

I have always had this pokemon poster, since I was 5, and for those of you familiar with the series, you will understand why I think this poster might be rare.

First, it's made out of some sort of fabric. The colors of the poster intensify when a light is held behind it, making me believe this was a window poster of a store or something.

Second, It's Japanese. It has the japanese logo for Pokemon written atop the banner, with the word "Pocket Monsters" below it in yellow. There's no telling if it's Japanese, I'm just guessing.

Next, it features all 150 originals,(not quite) pokemon including mew and togepi, as well as human characters like the police officer, the nurse, ash, brock, misty, and prof. Oak. There's a reason I said it has all 150 originals, but not quite. after extensive study, I can't find aerodactyl. He's non existant on the poster. (I'm a nerd for realizing it, I know, but when I was a little kid sick in bed one day, I looked at my wall and tried to find them all and to this day can't find him)

So, I am a little short on cash and want it identified/valued/sold. So I want to know: Can anyone identifiy this based of my description? Can anyone value it accurately? where is my best bet selling it? where can I find somebody to identify/value this poster if nobody here can?

I think its rare because I can't find it anywhere online, and the fact it may be a misprint. I'd really like it if someone could steer me towards an expert or somebody that could identify this for me. Thanks!
