Who really gives a crap??? I sure don't. But apparently its so important that the word gets out that they are getting a new dog, versus fixing the economy and making sure that the American people are taking care of. Or is this the new assignment of First Ladies? To announce to the general public, and make public statements which amount to nothing and serve no purpose, and really just do nothing but insult the families who might not be able to afford a new puppy for their kids because they lost their jobs.

Maybe this isn't a question...more of a Public Announcement...

OK...I ask you this. Why is it that the Japanese continue to invent newer, dumber and more pointless things for humans to buy? This just topped it all...

OK...probably some of you have experienced this already. You ask a question, which may be in violation of some set guidelines and terms of use set aside for LAWS on Yahoo...and then you get screwed by the moderator and they remove your question.

But when everyone starts asking questions about growing, smoking, eating, shoving it up your butt (eat that moderator) marijuana (WHICH IS ILLEGAL IN MOST COUNTRIES), they don't get blocked or removed.

WHAT IS UP WITH THAT?????

Are these Moderators we have on Yahoo! Answers trolls themselves? Or don't they do their job in the first place by watching for content which may have negative effects on young kids who get on this site as well?

I ask for all of you to check on my status for a while (as in make sure my profile still exists). Just in case the Moderators would wish to block me from Yahoo! Answers for talking back about them (bring it on).

Anyone on here involved with the American Tree Farm program? I know some people may not believe forestry falls under agriculture, but it does. I am a forester in Pennsylvania, and I have now measured and marked a couple of Tree Farms recently set up. I am extremely curious with the system, and have my own views on it.

If anyone does have property of theirs set up under the Tree Farm system, what do you think of it? Is it beneficial to your checkbook? How are you doing as far as making an annual quota on timber harvests?

I am currently watching this show on the National Geographic Channel. What do you guys think of it? I think they have done a pretty good job.

Ahhh, hey, if any of you are looking for any last minute gift ideas for me, I have one. I'd like Frank Shirley, my boss, right here, tonight. I am a forester, and I have been trying to figure this question out ever since the timber market took a huge plunge, and drove housing the way of the dinosaurs. Of course, I do PROPER silviculture, and maintain forests the way I learned in school and follow my books as bibles (just thought I would throw that out to people who will run me down for even picking up a chainsaw). I do my practices in Pennsylvania, which provides most of the materials for house interiors. But the northwest part of the country brings in most of the framing work for homes, and that part of the market has been throw into hole and left to die. My studies say that they haven't exhausted their supply, and are regenerating forests faster than they can cut them.

When the housing market took a plunge, so did the timber market. However I think this can be reversed, and give our economy a major boost if we find a way to produce lumber at a certain price which would kick-start the housing market, and if Mr. Bush would just give that stimulus package to the private businesses instead of Wall Street, I think it would work. Please give me some of your input. I know it may be hard to see what I wrote as a "question", but that is just how I word things. I no someone (I wish I didn't), who believes that there is no outer-space as we know it, and that God painted the sky in order to give us something to look at every night. NASA has never sent anyone into space, because it doesn't exist. They believe that man has been the only inhabitants of this planet, and for only a period of 5,000 years. Here is a quote: "God put dinosaur bones in the soil in order to test our faith." Their "church" has engraved this nonsense in their brain.

I know this all sounds ridiculous, but as a well-educated, scientific person, I cannot even begin to think up a response to what this person has told me. What do you guys think?
