I have had the worst luck lately. I'm not sure why the bad karma is clinging to me since I just donated to Toys for Tots, the Humane Society, and a local food pantry. I am also a psychology intern and do therapy for people with severe mental illness for free. Something isn't right. The house I put an offer on doubled in price, I walked out my door in high heels and stepped in two feet of snow, my brother overdosed on pills, my fiance's truck (our financial support) is broken, none of my friends have been talking to me, and much more. I am getting so depressed. I feel alone and irritated at everything that has been happening.

What kinds of things can I do to get karma back on my side?

My fiance is a truck driver and only home 3 days per month. Although we have sex when he comes home, four weeks is too long for me to go without sex! I think about it all the time. I have even made out with my ex (no sex involved). I try to pleasure myself, but it is just temporary relief. I have been having thoughts of other men now, which is awful. I know I would never cheat on my fiance, but how to I get my mind off of sex?

A new girl just got hired about a month ago...making a total of only 5 of us at a 24/7 crisis center! Anyways, we always schedule about a month ahead of time. Well, this week two of my coworkers had scheduled vacation time for memorial day weekend, which left three of us (new girl included).

Low and behold she calls in sick for the whole weekend claiming she has an anxiety attack and that since the doctor's office is closed until Tuesday, she cannot come in for any of her shifts! So I ended up working 56 hours this week!!!!! She even gave me this story about how she would cover for me the Sunday before memorial day so I could see my father for a couple of hours. I haven't seen my father in four months and she ends up calling in with an 'anxiety attack'!!!!!!!!!!

How do I deal with this obvious disregard for others?
