I found a stray kitten yesterday. It looks to be about five weeks old. I've not had this kitten for about 36 hours. It is eating (a mix of kitten formula and soft food). I've not seen it drink any water. I've not been able to see any evidence of it using the bathroom. No pee, no poop. The kitten has been kept in one room so far, so I think I'd find the pee or poop if it was there. Is the kitty okay? What do I do? None of the area vets are open due to the holiday weekend. The cat seems otherwise happy. He plays, he purrs, he curls up with me. Please help.

I will be out of the country for about three weeks. While I am gone, I am having a college student stay at my house and take care of my pet rabbit. The responsibilities are pretty minimal. I want to make sure to compensate her fairly. How much is an appropriate amount to pay somebody for three weeks?

I need to go to the dentist, and this will be the first time that I have ever done this on my own as an adult with insurance and no parents leading the way. What kinds of questions do I ask to know whether or not I have found a good dentist? How do I find out about the dentist's billing practices or prices?

Every time I turn the air conditioning on in my 2002 VW Jetta, the orange check engine light for emissions comes on. (It is not blinking, just stays on). If I turn the a/c off, the light goes off. I've had my air conditioning checked and serviced and there are no leaks or problems with the a/c. However, even after having the a/c serviced, the check engine light still comes on when I turn on the a/c.

What could this indicate? I would appreciate feedback.

I am going to be moving across town next month, and I am looking at moving companies. What questions do I need to make sure to ask, or what guarantees do I need to make sure are in my contract to make this a smooth move where I don't get taken?

At work, we use Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to track our price lists. We have three price lists connected to a main list. When something is modified in the main list, it does not always update the other lists, but sometimes it does. All of the formulas appear to be correct. Does anybody know what the problem may be?

I work for a small non-profit organization with five employees. We are salaried. We get no breaks during the workday, and we often come in early and have to stay late. We don't get overtime, but I'm not sure what the exemption rules are. Is all of this legal? What are the exemptions for overtime?

I'm thinking about buying a 2002 VW Jetta and the dealer told me that the car took premium gasoline. I've never heard this about Jettas before. Does anybody have (or has had) a Jetta and can tell me whether or not this is true?

If I asked to hold a car overnight so that I could make a decision on it today and was asked to sign a promissory note, am I now legally bound to buy the car?
