  • Visitation / Relocation?

Father has primary custody/mother has visitation every 2 weeks. Currently both live 45 minutes apart. Father is looking to move to another city (which would be an additional approx. 1/2 hr drive for the Mother to pick up / drop off children on her visitation - order states that visiting parent must provide transportation for children to and from agreed upon location) for better schooling for kids and opportunity with work. Original visitation order states nothing about the pick up / drop off location that has been in place for over a year +, Father has been using his parents house as location... Parents have requested to no longer allow Mother to come to home and pick up / drop off. Father has started process and filed with courts pending new address for himself and children 2 months ago and has given Mother notification via certified mail of new address, school info, daycare, contact # info and advised of change in drop off / pick up location. Allowing Mother 2 months preperation time before the move that the grandparents house will no longer be used & has provided maps and locations and times and addresses for new pick up / drop off. Mother has responded via text stating he has received this info but states that she will not be coming to the new locations to pick up / drop off children because she still wants to do it at the grandparents house for her convenience. Grandparents have been advised by Father that the children will not be picked up / dropped off at their residence any longer. The original custody / visitation order also does not state any legal residence address on it as well and Father is planning on moving within the next month. Has the Father violated the law in any way or has he followed the appropriate lines that he needs to. What other options does he have, what else is required? When filed with court Father was not advised that any type of amendment needed to be signed by Judge as the order did not show any address on it thus the move, as long as communicated to the other parent within 30 days. --- If there are any specific sites / lawyers / places that you are sharing info from please advise of where your information has come from ... State is Virginia and I am having issues finding anything specific online that can assist me & Father is in need of financial aid for obtaining a possible attorney as well. Any and all insight would be greatly appreciated. Thank you everyone.

  • without having to paint my nails how can I keep the tips from looking ridgy ?

I have very quick growing and strong fingernails. However the tips start to get a ridgy look to them as they grow longer but it is lengthwise of the nail not width wise. How can I keep them from getting that look to them. I use a hand moisturizer and cuticle moisturizer at least once a week, but they still look dry alot.

  • How to tactfully say NO to family?

I am getting married in April next year. Lover's brother and sis-in-law, just decided to tell us that they are expecting. Baby due in March. Sister in law, sent me an email saying that she will be bringing the newborn to the wedding... and we won't even know he's there ! WHAT !?

We decided early on that we are not having any kids at the wedding, no matter who's they are... no exceptions.

First we are having an evening wedding. Not starting ceremony until 5:30pm, they will have to drive at least 6 hrs with a newborn in the car. I think that is just DUMB, to bring the child around people who have who knows what coughs , colds, etc...

We are not planning on having any kids at the rehearsal dinner either. How do we tactfully say, Sorry hon, it's best if you do not bring the kid nor yourself to our event. It's our day, not yours. She is the type that will try to make the day about her no matter what. That is her way of getting attention, she always feels that she needs to have all eyes on her and not on The Bride to be and Groom.

How do we tactfully say - We want you to be there, but without the kids. If you cannot do that, please stay at home....

    GRRRRR- she irks me !

  • How good do you think my chances are.....?

I've been tracking my temp's and ovulation for the past 4 months religiously. According to everything I ovulated 1 week ago. Lover and I have done the deed every day since last sunday, some days even 2 x's. ( am and pm) I'm on day 22 of my cycle. Do you think there is a possibility that this may be the month? or have we done too much ? I'm also taking vitamins and prometrium.

This two week wait is agonizing !

  • Does anyone know an eco friendly site for affordable "green" bridesmaid dresses ? ?

I am getting my wedding gown custom made. My maids cannot afford this, nor would I want them to do this for a one day event ! I want to stay within the same theme as my dress but want to make sure that they can afford the dress. I have looked online and find mostly custom eco dresses for the maids. I do not want to find the same mass produced taffeta and cookie cutter dresses that are usually used at weddings. This is going to be a spring wedding and I know that getting them sized and to their fittings with time to spare is going to be on their part but I want to give them plenty of time to start. Since all of my maids are going to come from 3 different states I want to find a place that has a brick and mortar store front or can either be ordered in a store or can be ordered online and shipped where it needs to go. I also do not want something that is very renaissance looking. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
