Is Obama taking credit for oil production that belongs to Bush? The lead time on oil wells is 5 to 15 years.?
He is claiming that oil production has never been higher, but those wells were permitted under Bush. Obama has shut down off-shore drilling and closed millions of acres to drilling. We are dependent more than ever on mid-east oil and the political turmoil that goes along with it.

The WH is telling California that they can't balance their budget by cutting state employees salaries unless they are willing to forfeit stimulus money. Could it be that the stimulus bill is more about power and control than about economics?

He wants to tap the Insurance companies who insure Veterans to pay for healthcare connected with service connected disabilities. What employer would hire a veteran if he knows that it will impact his insurance premiums? How is this fair to the wounded veterans?

I have heard that Congress was quick to "bailout" AIG because they handle the Congressional pensions. They threw several other financial firms "under the bus". This mornings paper is talking about more help for AIG.
