  • What are options for growing "Dwarf" fruit trees in central NC?

I have a dwarf lemon tree and a dwarf orange tree. I got these last year. During the winter I put them in an outside building, I thought they had died. I put them out this past Spring and they have been in direct sun . The trees are now about two feet tall. Can these be planted outside? I live in Concord, NC.

  • Is there a way to cut and paste answers?

So many times I come across people with the exact same questions. They always ask, I guess without searching first. Much of the time I go into great detail for people, and really don't care to repeat the process. Is there a way to repost a previous answer? If not...there should be. Thanx

  • Need an old-school opinion about a 350 head swap and cam installation.?

I have an original 1977 350 with 70,000 miles on it. I have a water leak in the #6 cylinder since replacing the radiator last week. I have a couple sets of gaskets on hand and the original engine on a stand now. I am not financially ready to rebuild either engine yet. I want to clean the heads, lap the valves, and install Z28 springs on the spare set (same 882 heads). Then install them with a Comp. 270H cam. My friend whom I drag race with swears I'll "blow the bottom end out" if I do this. The rings don't leak, it has new gaskets including rear seal, new oil pump and new timing gears and chain. I've twisted the motor past 6,000 as is. It's not as if I'm changing the compression ratio. It is a solid runner. Anyone have an informed opinion to help make my case? I'm just a true believer of Chevy dependability.

  • What would be the better gear ratio for a 70 Nova 10-bolt running 1/8th miles?

We have 500hp (all motor), a modified TH350, Trans Brake, Cal-Tracks, and a 5800rpm stall. With a 5.13 gear it seems to run out of top-end grunt too early. Thinking maybe a 4.56, our 4.10 wasn't enough when we had 375hp + a 250 shot. Anybody know a similar combination?

  • Does anyone have more than a few restoration parts for 1977 El Caminos?

It seem 59-72's and 78-88's have gotten all the suppliers attention. I have ordered catalogs from suppliers claiming to stock parts for the 73-77's, but per dominantly, THEY DON'T !!!
