I have hard wood floors in my house and there are a couple spots that have chipped away and the spot underneath is like saw dust. I can't see any bugs. I don't know what caused it. Any ideas?

When I got in trouble in school I was told that it was going on my permanent record. Is the permanent record real or just a scare tactic? I want to see this permanent record.
