I think I'm six weeks pregnant today. I've had some minor bleeding although it is now just a pinkish discharge ( sorry tmi). Going for an early scan this morning. Do you think they will be able to see anything or is it too early. I had a miscarriage last year at about 7 weeks and I terrified it is going to happen again. I still have pregnancy symptoms, nausea and sore boobs. Wish me luck xx

I have one but it's a bit out of date. Actually a lot of date, I bought it when I was pregnant with my son, way back in 1989. So any suggestions would be good. xx

I can't believe it. After 23 months and miscarrying twins, I've got a faint but definitely positive test result! BFP! BFP!!

AF is three days late. I did take a test last friday (BFN) although I knew that was probably to early. I think I'm afraid to know as it will be 19 months since we started ttc and about a year since we got pregnant with twins and miscarried. I don't think I can take another negative, it's just too hard.

Shall I stop being a wimp and just go POAS or wait a few more days. I have never been more than a day late. So I must be pregnant ?! Oh, I don't know what to do!!

AF is due Monday. I have just found a test from last cycle in the drawer. Shall I use it now or wait and see if Af arrives. Lots of babydust to everyone xxx

I have just bought a slow cooker as I thought it would be useful as my hours have changed at work. Does anyone have any recipes to suggest or any books they would recommend. Preferably with english measurements. Any recipes would need to feed 2 adults and 2 always hungry teenagers.

For the last few months I have been totally relaxed about it. No imaginary symptoms or anything. AF is due in about 4/5 days. I'm exhausted and hungry all the time. I feel bloated and crampy which is not usual for me before AF.

My daughter bought a pattern to make a ball gown for her textiles exams at school. She is about halfway through cutting out the fabric and has lost one of the pattern pieces for the back of the bodice. Is there any way of getting a replacement without having to buy a brand new pattern. Any advice would be good.

my daughter bought 2 female gerbils from a pet shop 13 days ago. Today she went to clean the cage and discovered that one of them had had a litter of pups. Do we need to do anything or will they take care of themselves. Also should I complain to the pet shop?

LMP 21 October. 30 day cycle.

I have been ttc since August '08. I got a BFP in April but sadly miscarried in late May. Been trying ever since. My cycle since the miscarriage was 28 days exactly but the last 2 have been 30 days(Most annoying getting my hopes up like that). Last month I didn't use the ovulation tests because it was all getting a bit much. We always said that we wouldn't get obsessed about trying but every month it's getting harder to be relaxed about it. I don't know whether to go and see the doctor and try and get some help with ttc or to just keep trying and see how it goes.

OMG I've just read my question back over and I sound like a real moaner, I apologise.

My daughter wants a laptop for Christmas. I have a limited budget so I don't know what would be best. It would be mostly be used for bebo, facebook, instant messaging,school essays etc.

We have 2 PCs at home so for gaming she can use those.

Where are the best places to look for good deals?

Af due today, have been feeling a bit sick on and off for the last few days. I really can't take the disappointment of another negative. m I lkely to get a accurate result today or shall I wait for another few days.

I took out a policy for my washing machine about a month ago. It has now gone wrong. The chap came out today to look at it, said he'd order the part. I then get a phone call to say the insurers won't approve the repair. What can I do about this? I can't get a new washer that's why I took out the policy just in case something happened.

I bought an all day ticket for the car park yesterday and forgot to put it in the car. So I have been issued with a ticket for £50 (£25 if I pay within 14 days). Is there any point in trying to appeal it or shall I just pay up. Has anyone else tried to appeal if so what happened?

I was about eight weeks pregnant. I had a sudden bleed (heavy with big clots) went for a scan the next day. The doctor said it was probably twins and one was still there but he couldn't see a heartbeat or anything. Tested my HCG that day and again two days later but although they went up it wasn't by enough. another scan a week later showed no change. So I had to have an ERPC a week later. I really want to try again but how soon? I am nearly 40 years old so I can't leave it too long. Any opinions would be helpful, thanks.

I had a miscarraige last week. I was about 7/8 weeks. I went for a scan the next day and the doctor thinks it was probably twins, one was still there but no signs of a heartbeat or anything. They took blood and again 48 hours later. But my hormone levels have gone up, I'm still feeling sick and my boobs are killing me. I have to have another scan today but I don't know what to think.

I am about 8 weeks pregnant.I was having my tea this morning, thought I was going to be sick so I got up to go to the loo and everything just came away ( huge clots and blood). Rang the doctor and he's going to book me in for a scan. I can't stop crying. Why do I need a scan? As I've obviously lost the baby what is the point.

I've just been to tell my doctor that I'm pregnant. He took my blood pressure and says I will probably have to see a specialist to get it down, but it hasn't gone up anymore since he took it last year. So I'm quite worried now. Will it harm the baby or what?

I've had a positive test result. How soon should I make an appointment to see my G.P?
