When I first got my alienware, the sound played just fine without headphones. Now my sound only works when I have headphones plugged in. I'm not sure what I messed up here, but I can't figure out why my sound won't play.

I got new glasses last summer, so I'd say it's been well over 6 months since I've had them. Ever since January I've been experiencing severe eye strain, headaches, and a very slight but annoying and uncomfortable dizziness. I went to the doctor and the chiropractor. I started anti-depressants for stress plus I did adjustments from the chiropractor every two weeks. No relief. I soon learned I was grinding my teeth in my sleep, and since getting a mouth piece to protect my teeth, I've still seen no relief in these headaches. I've also noticed my vision blurs very easily when reading small print or playing my video games. My eyes get strained much easier than they used to, and this is only a very recent occurrence. I've asked around, and I've been told that I might need new glasses. Does this sound like my glasses causing the problem? That's what I'm assuming.

So, a little while back I woke up with a slightly scratchy throat. I was like "Mm Okay, I'll just look in the mirror and see what's going on in there." So I looked, and there were white spots all over the inside of my throat. Went to the doctor and she took one look and said "Mmhm." And put me on 10 days of Amoxicillin 500 mg. I didn't get tested or anything. I was running a slight fever, which I didn't feel at all, and my energy has been just fine. I haven't had any symptoms besides the scratchy throat, which went away after a few days of starting the antibiotics. However, the spots are still there, though most have faded away. I have three days of antibiotics left.

Am I the only one to find this strange? Isn't strep throat supposed to make you .. you know, miserable?

I'm not sure what kind of course would be favorable here. I would also like to learn how to draw nature and other background scenery. I have little knowledge on human proportion, and i'd like to learn about it more so I can implement that knowledge into my artwork to give it a more natural and fluid feel. My character designs look too stiff and non-proportionate sometimes. What kind of college art course would be most favorable to learn these things? I'm looking for an associates or bachelor's degree.

I'm going to have a brain CT scan soon, and I've never had one before. I'm not sure what to expect.. How does it make you feel? Is it noisy or quiet? Is anything uncomfortable?

Also, I have anxiety disorder and I get frightened easily, I'm worried of having anxiety during the scan and messing it up. Is there anything I can do?

When I'm trying to read small text, books, or play my nintendo 3ds (not in 3d mode) my eyes go out of focus and blurry. Are my glasses not working? I got these new glasses last spring and it seems like, no matter what it is, if the text is small, i can't read it without my eyes going in and out of focus.

I was talking to my boyfriend last night, and we got on the topic of ERP because we play on a game called Tera, which we happened to pick a role play server and a lot of it's guilds and members are big into ERP as well, and we both pretty much agreed it wasn't cheating. However, I still kind of feel there's something wrong with doing it if you have a boyfriend/girlfriend/husband/wife. What do you think? Would something like this be considered unfaithful?

I'm wondering how some people can do the gluten-free diet without being miserable all their life.

I love noodles, cheeseburgers, cakes, cookies, sandwhiches. I even wanted to be a chef or a baker when I got old enough (I'm 16.) However, it so happens to be that I might have Celiac disease.. How do people cope with this? I would rather die than not enjoy my favorite foods, honestly. It's such a restriction it's annoying to the core. Even so, how can you stand having dinner with your family when they all get to enjoy their favorite foods? Can you even eat out?

Funny question, yeah. I'm 16, only 95 pounds and very very skinny. I don't have constipation, i'm not straining, and my stools aren't hard or dry. They are just really, really, REALLY huge. It's one very long and wide poop of normal color and doesn't smell foul at all. I've had this all my life, really. I usually only go once a week, that's always been the norm for me. however, i went yesterday, and today, and had some really big trophy sized stool. pretty embarrassing, right? Anyways, I was wondering what could cause such big stools? Is it normal or should I be concerned about it? haha.

I have a friend who I deeply care about. She really wants to finish high-school, but she dropped out due to bullying and doesn't get along well with others. I wanted to find her a good tuition-free online school so she can get the education she really wants, but she's having trouble finding a school for her state. I'm online home-schooled through the K-12 program, but it's not available for her state. Does anyone know any tuition-free online public school programs available in Missouri?

I never wear make-up, I don't look good with it on. I look so fake. I look at other women who wear make-up and look wonderful with it on, but look very plain without it. While some women who go to all-natural route look very horrible with make-up? I'm just wondering, how can make-up make some women look better, while make-up makes others look terrible? If you get what I'm saying. :P

We took our little 12 week old girl to the vet yesterday for her shots and also got medicine for her tapeworms. She was having pretty normal bowel movements until she had her shots and medicine. She seems to be a bit tired and constipated. Is this normal?

I got this new 12 week old chiweenie puppy yesterday, and she is driving me insane! I try to potty train her, but she won't let me pick her up or touch her. She shakes if I even look at her. I don't hit her or yell at her. I don't get mad if she has an accident on the floor. She acts as if I'm going to hurt her. I tried to show her that I won't hurt her. I occasionally pet her gently but she usually pulls away, and I don't try and force it. I try to keep her from getting lonely, but she gets even more stressed if I come near her. She never gets stressed when my brother or mom give her attention, but she is terribly frightened of me. I'm the only one home all day, I'm always home alone. I can't potty train her, or anything at all because she doesn't like me! It's my job to train her, because no one else is home ever, but I'm at my limit! I don't know what to do to help her! All she does is shake and sometimes growl if I get close. I just want to cry because I don't know how to raise her properly, and no one's advice is helping me take care of her.

I can't even look at her without her shaking! Just once glance at her and she puts her tail between her legs and she starts to shake. I made sure she has plenty of toys, a place to potty (which I can't train her to use because she won't let me come near her), she has a place to sleep and a blanket to keep warm, She always has fresh water available. I really want her to trust me because I'm the only person who she has all day. I don't know what to do!

I don't know how the breeder treated her at home, but she always acts like I'm going to drop her or hit her. I would never hit her or drop her.

I'm brand new to having a puppy, and I'm so confused at where to start! She'll act like she needs to go potty, but she will not let me pick her up or even put a leash on her without her squirming or screaming, and when i finally successfully do so and get her outside, she refuses to go. I'll bring her back inside, and she goes on my carpet. I'm not mad at her, but I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I'm totally new to being a puppy parent, but I feel like she hates me.
