Sugar Booger

So I'm making something for a neighbor from my daughter and I am NOT creative at all. I have glitter (red, blue, gold, silver, multi, pink and white--pink and white are really light though) i have little rhinestones, feathers, pipe cleaners, Purple and silver ribbon, markers, crayons, etc. What else can I do to make this thing not so BLAH? I don't wanna over kill it though. Right now it looks like crap! Thanks in advance.

My little cousin's (she's 14) boyfriend asked her to his Junior Formal. And I'm trying to look at sites for dress ideas for her, along with a friend of mine. My friend says Formal dresses are supposed to be long.

I'm not that girly, not did I care about, let alone go to prom or Formal. So, for you girly girls out there that are in high school... Are they supposed to be long? Or does it not matter?

(I'd ask my cousin if she was online right now and not in bed lol)

My dad started getting my daughter a savings bond every month. But then we found out that they take like 20 years to mature. Is there anything similar to a bond that will mature faster, and possibly more and for around the same price as a savings bond.

I'm not exactly sure how long they take to mature, but I know it's a long time (20 yrs sounds about right to me). Also the ones she has are EE.

How much do they charge to make your own special stamps? Like if I wanted to have stamps made with my daughter's picture. I know it's at least the cost of a normal book of stamps, but how much extra do they charge for the special picture on them? Also, has anyone ever had them made? Did they turn out really good?

I have a DXG505V camcorder. And the program doesn't work, for some reason. I also have a digital camera and my memory card fits and works in both cameras. Is there a way I can get the pictures off of my camcorder onto my computer? I can't go buy an expensive program or anything like that.

Please only answer if you actually KNOW if your idea will work. They are precious movies that i CANNOT lose. So, please don't guess. I'd appreciate it.

I've tried:

To file my nails to make them kinda rough (with an electric file and regular)

Keep then natural.

Keep them natural but clean them with nail poish remover.

Use one of those 4 way buffers that make your nails shiny.

Nothing works!!! Any suggestions??

I am using a primer.

I'm doing it myself, not professionaly.

I'm not using any fake nails. I'm only covering my natural nails with acrylic.

Why do we want to keep "bad" ppl in our lives? Like the abusive bf or the self centered friend that you're always there for and would do anything forbut they're not for you. What about them makes us make excuses for the way they treat us. Why can't we see who they really are, when everyone else can? Why do we keep them and do what's best for US?

I know everyone's not like this, but I'm sure we've all had at least one person like that in our lives. So why do we just accept it instead of changing it?

Is there any place where I can find out tips and techniques to apply eye shadows? Like what colors are best for certain color eyes or complexions? Or how to correctly wear eye shadows that come in the 3 different colors? I hope this makes sense.

I don't have the money to actually go to a professional. And my small town doesn't have the department store make up girls.

I'm having a Burger King birthday party for my (going to be) 4 yr old. It's 2 hours, playground playroom thing, and a clown that plays with the kids. They each get a meal and cupcake.

Should I plan party games and what not for the kids? Or just let the clown and playground occupy them?

Also, since I don't know ANY of the parents, and I would hope for their sake they don't drop their children off, should I have something for the parents to do as well? Even though it's a CHILD'S party?

If you think I should have child/parent activities what do you suggest i do? I'm NOT good with this kind of stuff.

My almost 4 yr old is having her b-day party at Burger King. The kids meals will be paid for of course. If the parents chose to stay, am I expected to feed them as well? Or do I expect them to buy their own food? I know I don't HAVE to feed them, but I would feel awful if I didn't. I really don't have money to feed even a few of them. Is this too rude? What if I am approached with why I am not feeding the parents???

What are some of your favorite Christmas traditions that you do with toddlers? Fun ones like going to look at lights for hours Christmas Eve.....
