Im moving to Los Angeles for one year only and will need a car. What are my best options?

I know companies like enterprise do long term rentals (month to month) but it seems a bit expensive for 12 months. And most lease contracts are up to 3 years (some are 2) and didnt find any for one year.

Im trying not to buy a car to resell later.

Any ideas?

So I will be moving from New England to Los Angeles and decided to drive it there because I also want to do some sightseeing, and I like taking long road trips.

At the same time that I am moving I could also get a car (I didnt own a car while in New england but I have driven for several years before).

I want to know what is more cost efficient/effective keeping in mind the cars value.

I could either rent, lease or buy a car since I was planning to buy one once I get to Los Angeles anyway.

I am not looking for hotel, food...etc costs. Im just trying to figure out my transportation costs and what would be a better option.

I had a driving license in California which expired about a year ago. I now live in Boston and since I dont own a car here I decided not to renew it when it expired. Now I am buying a car and need to know if I can just have the DMV send me a new license or do I have to take the test again here in Massachusetts?

-Its been about a year since my license expired

-My old license was from CA, the new one I need is from MA

-I also have a license from another country.

I know its generally not adviced to put litterbox close to the food and water of the cat. But is it fine if I put the toys and bed/scartching post next to the litter box? Or should the litterbox be isolated on its own?

I am buying an android tablet and will switch my iphone to an android phone when i can upgrade.

Im curious which computer works best with an android/google ecosystem. PC or Mac?

I know google has the chromebooks but they are not good for me because I need to run software and be able to run it offline as well.

Is there a preference of PC or Mac? or i doesnt really matter?

I am selling an item online and the buyer originally agreed to use paypal to send me the money. Now the buyer is saying that paypal is charging him X amount of $ as a sending fee and he would rather do a direct bank wire transfer. Is this person trying to scam me? I have never heard of paypal charging for sending money. And would a wire transfer be safer or less safe?

I am selling something online and the buyer doesn't want to use paypal because they charge them an extra fee when doing a paypal deposit. Is it equally safe, safer or less safe to accept a direct bank deposit to my account when selling something online?

I plan to wait until I receive the money in my bank and then i would send the item... i just want to know if there is a way that the buyer might be able to scam me and get his money back once i send my item to him.

Im trying to get to the Blue Hills ski area from boston but I don't have a car. Can I take the red line all the way south to Mattapan or Braintree and then take a bus/shuttle to the ski area? How much would a taxi ride from one of these stations to the ski area cost?

I am sick and I will take a nyquil pill, can I also take a dose of nyquil cough syrup? or are they both the same medicine in different intake forms?

I have to travel from Dover/Durham NH to Boston around midnight, I tried looking for amtrak but their last train is at 9:30. Anyone know if there is a bus company which works late? or what other options I have to travel late night?

I am selling my ps vita and have a memory card with it. In the memory card I have about 4 games which I also want to sell but I am not sure if I can wipe out everything in the memory card BUT the games. I don't want any of my info in the card or the system so I will restore the system to factory, but if I restore the memory to factory then I will lose my games. Each game is about $30 so I don't want to just delete them, i wanna get some money out of them but I'm afraid some of my info will remain in the card.

I live in Boston and sometimes we get real state agents calling to show the apartment, I'm fine with that. But sometimes they just come in the apartment to show it without previous notice as if the apartment was vacant. I have said no several times but they just keep coming. Is there a certain law which prevents real state agents from coming in to an apartment if you say NO or if no previous notice is given?

Its become a problem because they all have keys to the apartments but when I'm not home there is no way to tell them "no".

I just came back to my apartment for college and I found the mattress full of dust. I started to pad it a bit to get rid of some of the dust that was on the outside but how do you get rid of everything? I am starting to get dust allergies.
