Hey everyone, I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant 4CYL with Auto transmission and my check engine light came on today and it's showing this code:

PO421 Warm up catalytic converter, efficiency below thresold (bank 1)

What does this mean? How much will it cost? and also, I need the car to go to work, is it safe to drive?

2000 Mitsubishi Galant ES 107,000 miles Automatic Tranny. My car is not starting, it was fine until I got home today, I had it on idle and then it shut off itself, when I start it, it only stays on for like 3 seconds and then shuts off itself, yellow engine light came on and I pulled the code "PO340 Camshaft Position Sensor - A circuit bank 1 or single sensor circuit malfunction" I've done some research and this is somewhat related to the timing belt but I replaced that and water pump at 100K miles...What could this be and How much will it cost???

I'm a soccer fan and ESPN or ESPN 2 rarely transmit Soccer games so therefore I always watch ESPN Deportes but it's really annoying to have an HDTV and not be able to see that channel in HD, I think it's ridiculous that ESPN gives preference to a stupid college basketball or college football game than other more intersting stuff like the english premier league

Hey everyone I work at Costco part-time but I needed more hours so I just got an early morning job today at Macy's, I have orientation this Friday but I'm afraid they won't give me the job because 6 months ago I planned a vacation to Mexico (2 weeks) in a month from now so what should I do? should I just tell them now or should I wait a few weeks more until I already started the job, I am so confused, haha

I've been working for costco for a while so I requested vacation time but idk for macy's, I'd only have a month working for them by the time I'd be leaving for 2 weeks

Yeah so last year I had a 2004 Dodge Neon with 72,000 miles and the day my wife came back from vacation I picked her up from the airport and in our way home the car started jerking violently, I had it checked the next day and somehow the oil got mixed with water or sumsh1t like that so I had to replace the transmission ($2500) I ended up trading in the car for another one which is the one I got right now, 2000 Mitsubishi Galant with 100,000 miles, they gave me $500 bucks for the neon and I paid $3000 for this one but after a few months of ownership I've already spent $2000 in repairs and not even done yet, I've changed the timing belt/water pump for $600, head gasket for $1200, egr valve for $150 and $200 for a tow truck when this car left me stranded in the highway, after changing all of that the car still overheats and the mechanic's had my car for 3 days already and he doesn't seem to know what it is yet, I'm worried I believe I have a lemon =[

I just changed my timing belt, water pump, head gasket, thermostat and egr valve but my car is still overheating, what else could it be? seems ok while driving in the city but in the highway like 50mph and up overheats

Hi everyone, last thursday I was driving my car on the highway and I noticed the temperature needle on my dashboard was all the way up so I exited the highway and stopped at a gas station nearby, I asked a mechanic if he could take a look at my car and he noticed I recently changed the timing belt, timing belt tensioner and the water pump. There was white smoke coming out the engine so he let the car cool down a little bit to check it, he poured some anticoolant and the car seemed ok, he test drove it for about 10 mins and it looked fine so I tried to drive it back home and the car overheated again, this time all the anticoolant that the mechanic poured in the car was leaking so I had to call a tow truck to take it home. The mechanics had the car for 3 days and he can't find the problem, he tried changing the thermostat and now he thinks it could be the head gasket? What do you guys think it could be?

Hello everyone, I have a 2000 Mitsubishi Galant, it's automatic.I'm wondering if I need to get my tires balanced or something because while driving my car tends to go to the left side and also when I stop the car at a stop sign or a red light it starts vibrating but as soon as I take my foot off the brake pedal or put the car on neutral the vibration goes away, what could this be?

I got a lil freaked out tonight so I opened my hood and checked the fluids, I noticed the oil cap kinda smell like burnt, not too much but it did, is that normal?

1 = 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, 70,000 miles, Carfax 1 owner vehicle, $5000

2 = 2002 Toyota Camry, 85,000 miles, $6000

3 = 2003 Saab 9-5, 87,000 miles, $5800

All of them have automatic transmission

I love the fact that the Malibu has been well maintained and it's only had 1 owner but I also like the reliability of a Toyota Camry and also love the good looks of a Saab so I can't really think which one's my best option, help would be really appreciated, thanks so much!

Acabo de tener un bebe, que nacio en los Estados Unidos y por lo tanto es americano, yo soy espanol y lo inscribi a el como espanol tambien, mi esposa es mexicana y nos gustaria que tambien el fuera mexicano, es decir que tuviera triple nacionalidad, americana-espanola-mexicana, seria eso posible?

Today I received a letter from USCIS for a request for inital evidence.

This is what exactly says:

Form I-864 was submitted, however, it was not from the petitioner/sponsor. In order to process your application further, submit a completed and signed form I-864 for the petitioner/sponsor listed on form I-130.

My wife hasn't worked ever so she can't obviously be my sponsor, so her uncle filled out the sponsorship for me, so what's the problem? he sent the form as a "joint" sponsor, does anybody knows what this means? I'd really appreciate all the help, here's my timeline

April 15 2008 - Sent envelope with I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-864

May 2 2008 - Biometrics notice received

May 7 2008 - Biometrics done

May 27 2008 - Got Request for Evidence

Hey there everybody, I received an e-mail notification from USCIS this morning that said the Post Office returned a letter they sent me as "undeliverable", it's like the 3rd time this happens and I don't have an idea why, I've spoken with like 3 managers of that post office already. So today I called the USCIS call center and this woman wasn't much help, she acted like an *** hole so I made an appointment to speak with an immigration officer tomorrow but I want to know if it's free or not, and if it's not how much do I have to pay?

Hey everybody

I received a letter from USCIS this friday for my biometrics appointment on wednesday (tomorrow), but on Monday I received an e-mail notification about a letter from USCIS that was returned by the post office and I'm wondering what it was, it said it was regarding my I-765. I sent forms I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-864 though so I am curious of what it is, I already called USCIS customer service and gave them my correct mailing address because the USPS does not deliver to my home address, I live in a condo so the administrator used to receive my mail from her office but now a mailbox here became available and did the change of address with the USPS, that was like a week ago so maybe that's why they got confused and returned it.

I'd also like to know when will I most likely get my Employment Authorization, I sent the forms on April 21st and the biometrics are on May 7th so can anybody give me an estimate like from your own experience.

Hey everybody, I sent the forms I-130, I-485, I-765 and I-864 on April 21st, and today I got a letter from the USCIS to get fingerprinted at my local office on Wednesday, haha this came pretty fast so I would really appreciate all advices. Will they interview me and my wife or just get my fingerprints and maybe photos of me?

Also, when can I expect to get my Employment Authorization? days, weeks or months after the biometrics?

Oh and also, it says I must bring my passport and the letter they sent me, should I bring anything else just in case?
